Diana Castle is a first generation American born of a holocaust survivor father from Warsaw, Poland and a mother from London, England.

Diana attended fine arts high school at The Fine Arts Center of Greenville, South Carolina before graduating with a BFA in theatre arts and a minor in music from Florida State University. She began her career working in both musicals and dramatic roles in NYC, in national tours and regional theatre, as well as on stages internationally.

Diana began working with actors privately in the mid 1980s as she continued a career on stage and in film and television. She has received multiple awards and critics choice accolades for her work including The Maverick Award from The Los Angeles Women’s Theatre festival for “self styled creativity” and her “maverick” contributions to the creative community.

For 25 years, Diana has been mentoring talents in film, television, and theatre through her Imagined Life creative philosophy and practical application. Diana Castle’s The Imagined Life – Acting as the Art of the Empathetic Imagination, is a creative philosophy and practical application of your natural empathetic imagination to the art of acting.

Diana teaches the art of the empathetic imagination with the focus on “illuminating alternative perceptions and possibilities of experience, facilitating catharsis and creating community through the widening of our empathetic embrace.” Diana comes highly referred by industry professionals and is lauded as one of the “top most respected” acting teachers/coaches in the business.

Diana created The Imagined Life theatre and studios in a 5000 square foot building in the Miracle Mile District of Los Angeles, California. She teaches and privately coaches there, alongside her team of wonderful teachers.

Diana is featured on Deepak Chopra's “30 Days of Intent” for The Chopra Well, writes for The Huffington Post, is an adjunct professor for Columbia College/ Raleigh Studios and is a mentor in the Creative Activist™ Program (CAP) at Creative Visions Foundation.

Diana is the creator and director of Carry the World: Women and Peace, a 50-minute multimedia testimonial docu-drama advocating on behalf of women's education. The transformative show starred Emmy winner and Academy Award nominee Shohreh Aghdashloo and while employing Imagined Life actresses, continues to make an impact through its "On Campus Educational Initiative". Diana believes, as the playwright Henrik Ibsen wrote, that "the only revolution that counts is a revolution of the human spirit."

Diana's video and audio lectures are available at Samuel French Bookstores, and online. She teaches class and coaches privately at her studio, on location, and via website.

Neal Page is trying to return to his family for Thanksgiving in Chicago after being on a business trip in New York City, but is held up by an advertising executive who spends the entirety of the meeting looking at the three pictures to choose to launch their ad. On their way out, he tries to find a cab and successfully hails one, but is beaten to the punch by another man (Kevin Bacon in a cameo appearance). Del Griffith, a traveling salesman, interferes by leaving his trunk by the side of the road causing Neal to trip while racing a man for a cab, then inadvertently snatching the taxi ride that Neal bought from an attorney. The two meet again on the flight from JFK Airport to O'Hare; the plane is diverted to Wichita due to a blizzard in Chicago. What should have been a 1-hour and 45-minute New York-to-Chicago flight turns into a three-day ordeal, in which everything that can go wrong does.
