Garrincha: Hero of the Jungle (Portuguese: Garrincha - Alegria do Povo) is a 1962 Brazilian documentary film directed by Joaquim Pedro de Andrade, about the Brazilian soccer player Garrincha. It was entered into the 13th Berlin International Film Festival.

Synopsis

Documentaire sur le football et sur la personnalité de Mané Garrincha, surnommé Alegria do povo ou encore O anjo de pernas tortas (L'Ange aux jambes torses) et qui demeure, sans doute, l'un des plus grands footballeurs brésiliens de tous les temps.
