Synopsis
Fisherman Franco and his father (both played by Franco Franchi) are fishing off the coast of Egypt when they see an American bomber crash that was carrying nuclear weapons. Franco is kidnapped by Agent 87 (Ciccio Ingrassia) of an international criminal organisation called SPECTRALES in order to locate the nuclear weapon.Actors

Franco and Ciccio are two street artists of Sicily; after failing in a lot of debt, they are forced to flee to America. There they are immediately enrolled, since the Second World War has just broke out. Becoming experienced skydivers, Franco and Ciccio are sent on a secret mission to Germany to ascertain the situation in Nazi concentration camps. Nick Moroni (Remo Germani), a young singer called up, learns that his wife Catherine (Alicia Brandet) from which separate lives, is about to leave for America bringing with her the son born of their union; so he abducts the baby and takes him to the police station, charging the soldier Piscitello (Franco Franchi) to keep him well hidden. C’est dans la célèbre prison de Sing Sing, à New York, que commence le film. Deux cousins, Franco et Ciccio Bacalone, y sont sur le point d’être exécutés et ils essaient désespérément d’éviter le sort qui les attend. On les traîne tous les deux dans une pièce où sont placées deux chaises, qu’ils prennent d’abord pour des chaises électriques mais qui en réalité ne servent qu’à attacher les prisonniers pour éviter qu’ils s’enfuient. C’est seulement après avoir été attachés qu'ils se rendent compte qu’ils seront exécutés au moyen d’une pilule de cyanure placée sous la chaise de Franco ; mais heureusement ce dernier, lorsqu’elle est libérée, réussit en agitant les pieds à éviter l’explosion de gaz toxiques et les sauve ainsi tous deux. Une fois leur vie sauvée, Franco écrit ses mémoires et raconte comment lui et Ciccio ont fini en prison.
