Suite à la mort de leur chef, Erik et Eyolf sont désignés pour diriger le peuple viking. Eyolf voit d'un mauvais œil ce partage du pouvoir auquel il ne s'attendait pas. Sous la menace des Danois, Erik décide d'aller à la recherche des nouvelles terres, Eyolf ne l'accompagne pas, mais ses complices sont du voyage. Arrivé en Amérique, les vikings fraternisent avec les indiens, et Erik tombe amoureux de Wa-Ta-Wa, la fille du chef. Le mariage est prévu, mais Sven, un autre dignitaire indien la convoite, il s'ensuit une violente bataille aiguisé par les partisans de Eyolf. Ceux-ci seront tués aux cours des affrontements mais Wa-Ta-Wa recevra une flèche mortelle. Quand Erik revient au pays alors qu'on le croyait mort il comprend la trahison de Eyolf qui poursuivi par la foule se jette du haut d'une falaise.

Part 1 The film is set around the time when many Europeans had changed their religion from paganism to Christianity. The film is split into three parts, and comprises the story of Siegfried from childhood to his death. The film opens with a young Siegfried awakening in the middle of an invasion of his parents' castle by Saxons. The castle is soon overrun and all are slain except for Siegfried, whose mother has sent him down the river. In the morning he is picked up by a blacksmith, Eyvind, who raises him under the name Erik.

Following a dispute between Jupiter and Mars the latter ascends to Earth. Together with Venus he instructs the Thracians how to erect a castle which is supposed to become more beautiful than Mount Olympus. Jupiter assigns Vulcan and Etna to find Mars. Eventually the Thracians capture Etna and torture her. Vulcan saves her life and incites the slaves of the Thracians into an uprising. Mars und Venus try to return to Olympus but Jupiter sends Mars back to Earth to be with Etna.

In 500 A.D., Hrothgar, king of Denmark, and a group of warriors chase a large and burly man, whom they consider a troll, and his young son, to the edge of deep cliff. The father directs his young son, Grendel, to hide from the attackers' view; whereupon The Danes shoot the father dead, and his dead body plunges onto the beach far below. The Danish king sees the young Grendel, but spares him. Later, Grendel finds his father's body and cuts the head off to take it home. Many years later, the severed (and mummified) head is inside a cave where the boy Grendel has become as large and powerful as his father, and plans revenge.

When the demon god Loki (Richard Grieco) wipes off the city of Valhalla to steal the Hammer of Invincibility, only the young hero Thor (Cody Deal) can recover the cities from evil. Two years after the episode "A Minor Problem", Dr. David Banner has been gainfully employed at the Joshua-Lambert Research Institute (as David Bannion) where he and a team of scientists are putting the final touches on a Gamma Transponder, which he intends to use to cure him of his ability to turn into the Hulk. He has not changed into the Hulk for two years since he met a young widow, Maggie Shaw, with whom he is romantically involved. By chance, he is recognized by a former student of his, Donald Blake. Blake claims that, on an expedition in the Norwegian mountains, he found an enchanted hammer containing the soul of Thor, an immortal Norse warrior banished by Odin to Earth to earn worthiness into Valhalla. Thor is reluctantly compelled to serve Blake, who is unnerved by this. Banner does not believe him, so Blake summons Thor into Banner's laboratory. Thor damages equipment and angers Banner until he turns into the Hulk, who easily fights him off and leaves.
