Irma Bunt est un personnage de fiction qui apparaît dans le livre Au service secret de Sa Majesté, dans lequel elle sert d'assistante à Blofeld ainsi que de chaperon aux anges de la mort pour s'assurer qu'elles ne s'éloignent pas de Piz Gloria.

Irma Bunt est une petite femme revêche, sans humour. C'est elle qui accueille James Bond à la gare, sous l'identité de Sir Hilary Bray, et qui l'accompagne à Piz Gloria, où dès le début, elle se montre très soupçonneuse à l'égard de celui-ci. Elle tend une embuscade à Bond lorsque celui-ci allait rendre une visite nocturne à Ruby Bartlett. Bien qu'elle n'apparaisse pas dans la scène d'assaut de Piz Gloria, c'est elle qui tue Tracy Bond à la fin du film.

Irma Bunt est jouée par l'actrice allemande Ilse Steppat (qui décéda peu après le tournage).

Irma Bunt refait surface dans la nouvelle de Raymond Benson, Le Spectre du passé où elle tue le fils de Bond et tente de le tuer à son tour. Mais elle échoue.

In Portugal, James Bond – agent 007, sometimes referred to simply as '007' – saves a woman on the beach from committing suicide by drowning, and later meets her again in a casino. The woman, Contessa Teresa "Tracy" di Vicenzo, invites Bond to her hotel room to thank him. The next morning, Bond is kidnapped by several men while leaving the hotel, who take him to meet Marc-Ange Draco, the head of the European crime syndicate Unione Corse. Draco reveals that Tracy is his only daughter and tells Bond of her troubled past, offering Bond a personal dowry of one million pounds if he will marry her. Bond refuses, but agrees to continue romancing Tracy under the agreement that Draco reveals the whereabouts of Ernst Stavro Blofeld, the head of SPECTRE.

After destroying a drug laboratory in Latin America, James Bond—agent 007—travels to Miami Beach where he receives instructions from his superior, M, via CIA agent Felix Leiter to observe bullion dealer Auric Goldfinger, who is staying at the same hotel as Bond. The agent sees Goldfinger cheating at gin rummy and stops him by distracting his employee, Jill Masterson, and blackmailing Goldfinger into losing. Bond and Jill consummate their new relationship; however, Bond is subsequently knocked out by Goldfinger's Korean manservant Oddjob. When Bond regains consciousness, he finds Jill dead, covered in gold paint, having died from "epidermal suffocation".
