O’Keefe (Steve Catlett) stars as an American G.I. who remained in Italy after the war to manage a car dealership. Nicolino is a kitchen boy who works in a small pharmacy in the country, run by a woman unbearably rude. In a town, near Naples, in 1900, the cobbler Agostino Miciacio is accused by tenants of his apartment building to be crazy. In fact Augostino is a lively man, mocked by everyone because he is messy.
