Patrick Joseph Wilson (born July 3, 1973) is an American actor and singer. He spent his early career starring in Broadway musicals, beginning in 1995. He is a two-time Tony Award nominee for his roles in The Full Monty (2000–01) and Oklahoma! (2002). In 2003, he appeared in the HBO miniseries Angels in America for which he was nominated for the Golden Globe Award and Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Movie.
Wilson has appeared in feature films such as The Phantom of the Opera (2004), Little Children (2006), Watchmen (2009), Insidious (2010), Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), and The Conjuring (2013). On television, he starred in the CBS drama series A Gifted Man (2011–12), and the second season of FX's anthology series Fargo (2015).
In May 2012, Wilson gave the keynote address for his alma mater, Carnegie Mellon University, in which he spoke of his memories from childhood and through his career.
On May 26, 2012, Wilson and his brothers, Mark and Paul, performed a benefit concert for Southeastern Guide Dogs' "Paws For Patriots" program in St. Petersburg, Florida. They raised $30,000 for the program and were honored by the organization with having puppies named after them. The brothers have also performed benefit concerts for All Children's Hospital and the St. Petersburg Free Clinic.

Biography
On June 18, 2005, Wilson married Polish-American actress Dagmara Domińczyk, also a Carnegie Mellon University graduate (he graduated in 1995 with a drama degree; she graduated in 1998). On June 23, 2006, Domińczyk gave birth to their son, Kalin Patrick Wilson. On August 9, 2009, they welcomed their second son, Kassian McCarrell Wilson. The film starts with a man named Clutch Powers, with the Thunder Driller, looking for a power crystal. He sees a variety of them, but finally sees a large one. He grabs it and suddenly, the Queen Rock Monster wakes up and chases Clutch to her underground headquarters. Clutch escapes, and returns to Lego City and hands the crystal to his boss Kjeld Playwell (Paul Michael Glaser) who assigns him some new teammates: Brick Masterson (Roger Rose), a firefighter, weapons specialist, and demolition expert; Peg Mooring (Yvonne Strahovski) a biologist, and Bernie von Beam (Jeff Bennett) an engineer. Playwell informs of an incident in the Space Police prison planet when chaos occurs regarding to the imprisonment of the three most wanted criminals in the Lego galaxy. Clutch and his team investigate the situation at once, despite the team's lack of cooperation and Clutch's intent of working alone. They soon arrive at the planet.

The film is a semi-autobiographical account of Augusten Burroughs' (Joseph Cross) childhood. Lensman319 is a photographer who admits to "fantasizing" about Thonggrrrl14. Thonggrrrl14 entices Lensman319 to meet at a café to "hook up". At the café, Thonggrrrl14 – Hayley Stark – meets Lensman319 – Jeff Kohlver. Hayley makes several references to her age (14 years old), yet succeeds in convincing Jeff to take her to his house. In the year 1919, the Opéra Populaire holds a public auction to clear the theatre's vaults. The Vicomte de Chagny purchases a papier-mâché music box in the shape of a monkey and eyes it sadly as Madame Giry, an aged woman dressed in black, watches him. The auctioneer then presents a shattered chandelier as the next item up for bid, explaining that it once played a key role in "the strange affair of the Phantom of the Opéra." As the chandelier is displayed for all to see, it flickers to life and slowly ascends to its original place in the rafters as the audience is transported back in time to the year 1870.

The film begins in March 1836 in the Mexican State of Coahuila y Tejas town of San Antonio de Bexar (now Downtown San Antonio in the U.S. state of Texas), site of the Alamo, where bodies of Texan defenders and Mexican attackers are strewn over the Alamo. The film then flashes back to a year earlier. Sam Houston (Dennis Quaid) attends a party where he tries to persuade people to migrate to Texas. He meets with David Crockett (Billy Bob Thornton), recently defeated for reelection to Congress. Houston explains to Crockett that as an immigrant to Texas, Crockett will receive 640 acres (2.6 km) [a square mile] of his own choosing. Crockett, with a grin, pointedly asks Houston whether this new republic is going to need a president.
