Thomas Duane "Tom" Arnold (born March 6, 1959) is an American actor and comedian. He has appeared in many films and starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in True Lies (1994). He was the host of The Best Damn Sports Show Period for four years.

Biography

Arnold met comedian Roseanne Barr when she saw his act in 1983. Their relationship was complicated by his drug and alcohol addiction, but eventually he became sober. The two married in 1990 and divorced in 1994. In an April 2009 interview on Anytime with Bob Kushell, Arnold discussed how when he divorced Barr, he did not take any alimony. During the next ten years, Arnold married two subsequent times. Both marriages ended in divorce.

In August 2008, Arnold broke his scapula in a motorcycle accident on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Over Thanksgiving weekend 2009, Arnold married for the fourth time, to Ashley Groussman, in an intimate ceremony in Maui before 75 family members and friends. Dax Shepard served as Arnold's best man, while jewelry designer Andrea Groussman was the maid of honor. She also designed the newlyweds' rings. During their honeymoon, Arnold and Ashley stopped in Shanghai, China, where Arnold appeared December 10 on the late night talk show Asia Uncut. They have one child, a son, Jax Copeland Arnold, who was born on April 6, 2013.

Arnold was raised a Methodist. He converted to Judaism upon marrying Roseanne Barr in 1990 and still practices Judaism.

Upon discovering a UFO in American airspace, the National Guard sends fighter jets to investigate, and they fire on the craft when it doesn't respond. Belatedly activating a cloaking device too late, the spaceship crashes into the Atlantic ocean, near land. The aliens aboard, Beldar Clorhone and his life-mate Prymaat, survive and quickly adapt to our human way of life, despite standing out with their conical shaped heads. Beldar gets work as an appliance repairman, and when his grateful boss Otto discovers that Beldar has no documentation, he arranges for a false identity, which sends up a red flag that quickly alerts the INS. Meanwhile, after communicating with their world (Remulak) and discovering that a rescue vessel will not arrive for seven "Zurls" (many years), Prymaat informs Beldar that she is pregnant. They now need to completely adapt and safely blend in in order to raise their child among humans. Ambitious INS agent Gorman Seedling and his assistant Eli attempt to capture Beldar and Prymaat, but they are able to elude the two agents.

When a television station offers $1 million to the "Angel of Flight 104", Bernie cannot claim the reward, due to his arrest while fencing credit cards he stole from the people he rescued. Bubber, however, uses the single shoe to take credit for the act.
