Synopsis
Karan plays this happy go lucky guy next door who is a small time contractor for cycle stands. When not at work, he kills time with his friends taking part in their mimicry troupe where he is famous for his Rajini look-alike acts. Life goes on for the protagonist until Meenakshi stumbles upon in his life. An aspiring medical student, she relates Karan’s benevolence to her late mother’s. Soon after, they both become victim of the stupid cupid’s bait.Actors

Vallarasu (Vijayakanth) is the deputy commissioner of police and a very honest Police Officer who has arrested Wasim Khan a terrorist from Pakistan. He is married and has wife Anjali (Devayani) and 2 children. Vallarasu kills his senior Police officer (Raguvaran) who is his father in law on knowing he is hand-in-glove with terrorists and Anti-National elements. Anjali leaves Vallarasu after she comes to know he had killed her father. Vallarasu takes the help of some youths who are disillusioned by their inability to join the police force to fight the terrorist and other criminal elements. Vallarasu fights R.Kandasamy (P. Vasu) a rich man who is behind the attempts to destabilise the country. With the help of Sheshadri, a software engineer, Vallarasu succeeds in killing the son of R. Kandasamy. Kandasamy in retaliation attacks Sriman and Karan who both die. In the climax, Anjali unites with Vallarasu after knowing the truth and he kills Kandasamy and Wasim Khan.

Bagavathi (Vijay), owns a tea shop cum hotel near Chennai High court. He lives with the aim of bringing up his younger brother Guna (Jai) as a doctor. He befriends a modern girl Anjali (Reemma Sen) while giving a refill to her. She doesn't know that the refill is valuable for Bagavathy and so casually throws it. He admonishes her for that and with the help of a receptionist gets it back. Anjali initially thinks that he is stingy. But later when she sees him helping a lady whose daughter has gone into labour and subsequently beaten up by a policeman, she gains some respect. Soon Bagavathy finds out that Anjali is the daughter of a Judge who is his friend. Guna has a girlfriend Priya with whom he accidentally develops a physical relationship. Guna hides this news from his brother. Guna's love is objected by Priya's father Easwarapandiyan (Ashish Vidyarthi) fearing for the loss of his status and name in society. Soon, in a college function, some goons sent by Easwarapandiyan beat up Guna. Bagavathy finds him and takes him to hospital. He takes the help of his friend Anand(Yugendran Vasudevan Nair) to safeguard his brother from the atrocities of Easwarapandiyan. Bagavathy, to fulfill his brother's wish, tries to convince Priya's father. Easwarapandiyan humilitates him by masking him polish his shoes. Bagavathy does so but despite that Easwarapandiyan says that Guna will die. Guna attempts to marry Priya even without the knowledge of his brother. But Priya's father collapses the marriage and Guna is killed in front of Bagavathy. Anand is also killed after trying to defend Guna.

Romeo lives a privileged life as a celebrity with his widowed mother, in Bangalore, India. He receives considerable assistance and encouragement from Raj Mohan to dance and sing. In the city of Chennai traditional rivalry has always existed between the students of Pachaiyappas and Loyola colleges respectively.
