Munjane is a 2012 released Kannada romantic drama film starring Ganesh and Manjari Phadnis. Multi-faceted director-actor S. Narayan has directed, penned story, written screenplay & dialogues, composed the songs and also acted in the film. Dharma Vish has scored the background music. Narayan's wife, Bhagyavathi Narayan has produced the venture under his home banner. Jagadish Wali is the cinematographer. The film opened across Karnataka cinema halls on 2 March 2012.

Synopsis

The story revolves around Manu Murthy Ganesh, who helps his father in his Mysore-based business.Once he reads a small poem written on a bus and instantly likes it. He responds by writing his appreciation just below the poem. The poem is written by Pavithra Manjari Phadnis, a girl from middle-class environs in Davanagere who scribbles sweet nothings on whatever material she finds, including vegetables and shirts. Her love story with Manu Murthy begins when she scribbles a sweet note on a bus going to a different city and is surprised to get a reply from someone at the other end.

The film starts with an imprisoned Manja (Ganesh) recalling his love for Shyloo (Bhama) since childhood that becomes more intense as they grow.
