Dean Zanuck (born August 11, 1972) is an American heir, production executive and film producer.

Biography

Early life
He was born on August 11, 1972 in Los Angeles, California. His father was Richard D. Zanuck (1934-2012), a film producer, and his mother, Linda Harrison (actress) (born 1945), an actress. His paternal grandfather, Darryl F. Zanuck (1902-1979), was a studio executive and co-founded 20th Century Fox in 1933. Dean's paternal grandmother was Virginia Fox (1902 - 1982), an actress.


Career
Dean has been an executive at The Zanuck Company for thirteen years. In 2002 he formed a new division, Zanuck Independent, specifically for the development and production of independent movies.


Personal life
Dean is married to Marisa Zanuck, a real estate agent who is featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a reality TV series on Bravo. Dean and Marisa live in Beverly Hills, California. They have one son, Jack, and a daughter, Darryl.

Qohen Leth, an eccentric programmer who refers to himself in the plural, is assigned to "crunch entities" for a company named Mancom. Finding himself suffering existential angst, Qohen constantly waits for a phone call, hoping that it might bring him happiness or the answers he seeks. Requesting a "disability" evaluation, three company doctors determine that Qohen is physically healthy, but request he have therapy from Dr Shrink-ROM, an AI therapist designed to provide mental evaluation. Wanting to meet with "Management", Qohen attends a party held by his supervisor, Joby. Stumbling into an empty room, Qohen finds Management and requests to work from home, as he would be more productive and would no longer risk missing his call; Management simply notes he finds Qohen "quite insane.

No one really knows Felix Bush (Robert Duvall), who lives as a hermit deep in the woods. Rumors surround him, such as how he might have killed in cold blood, and that he's in league with the devil. So the town is surprised when Felix shows up in town with a fat wad of cash, requesting a "funeral party" for himself. Frank Quinn (Bill Murray), the owner of the local funeral parlor in financial trouble, coveting Bush's wad of cash, agrees to advertise a funeral party at which the townsfolk will be invited to tell Felix Bush the stories they've heard about him. Michael Sullivan Sr. (Hanks) is an enforcer for Irish mob boss John Rooney (Newman) in Rock Island, Illinois during the Great Depression. Rooney raised the orphan Sullivan and loves him more than his own biological son, the unstable Connor (Craig). Connor snaps and kills disgruntled associate Finn McGovern when meeting him with Sullivan, resulting in Sullivan gunning down McGovern's men. Sullivan's twelve-year-old son Michael Sullivan, Jr had hidden in his father's car and witnesses the event. Despite Sullivan swearing his son to secrecy and Rooney pressuring Connor to apologize for the reckless action, Connor murders Sullivan's wife Annie and younger son Peter, mistaking him for Sullivan, Jr. He then sends Sullivan to an ambush at a speakeasy but Sullivan realizes and escapes to Chicago with his son to seek Al Capone, for work and to discover the location of Connor, who has gone into hiding.
