Gary Scott Thompson is a screenwriter, television producer, and director. As the creator and executive producer of NBC's hit series Las Vegas, Thompson also directed 4 episodes and made a brief appearance as a psychotherapy patient. His last major project was as the show runner and executive producer Knight Rider, a reinvention of the 1980s classic.
