Sesha Ratnam (Sarada) is very rich and headstrong women in the village Nakkabokkalapaadu. Even her husband Veera Bhadrayya (Kaikala Satyanarayana) Fears Her. They have two daughters Shobha and Neeru. Anjali Devi is Veera Bhadrayya’s Mother. Venkateswara Rao/Venkanna (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is the grand son of Anjali Devi and Nephew to Veera Bhadrayya. Sesha Ratnam doesn’t get well with her mother-in-law and never allows any of husband’s relatives to enter into her house. Veera Bhadrayya wants one of her daughters to get married to his nephew Venkateswara Rao. But Sesha Ratnam opposes the proposal. Venkateswara Rao promises his grandmother that he will marry one of Veera Bhadrayya’s daughters and unite the families. Venkanna comes to nakkbokkalapadu to make one of Sesha Ratnam’s Daughters to fall For him. But in the process, both the girls fall for him. Raja Vikramarka (Chiranjeevi) is the prince of Skanda Dweepam, a small kingdom. As he is a prince, he is not allowed to live his own free life. His father (Satyanarayana) arranges his marriage with another kingdom's princess. She turns out to be nothing more than a sycophant, one without a brain or spine of her own. He leaves the kingdom with his trusted friend, Jockie (Bramhanandam), in order to live his own life. In the modern big city, he finds a friend and works as a mechanic, during which time he saves a girl (Amala) from two attempts at her life. Her uncle (Rao Gopal Rao) hires him as her bodyguard. Rao later reveals to him that he was in fact the assassin trying to kill her for her money. In order to thwart his plot, Raja agrees to handle the murder attempts, while at the same time trying to save her. After being kicked out of the house, her uncle, along with the other villains (Gollapudi Maruthi Rao and Kota Srinivasa Rao) join forces to kill Raja and his parents. Raja saves the day and rules as king of his land.

Chiranjeevi(Kalyan) is a ruthless rowdy and do gooder. Vijayashanti (Rekha) is the loving daughter of arrogant businesswoman Vanisri (Chamundeswari). Sreedevi (Shalini) is a daughter of Kiranmayi (Jayasudha), a mad woman. Gopi (Chiranjeevi) is a music master brought up by Satyanarayana and Nutan prasad in a village. He wants to become a police constable. Surya Chandra Rao (Kota Srinivasa Rao) is a rich man in the village with his daughter Radha (Bhanupriya) who is head strong and proud of her riches. In a brawl with Gopi, she seeks revenge and acts as his disciple wanting to learn music and later accuses him of attempting to rape her with the help of new SI of the village Asirayya (Mohan Babu) but later realises her mistake and his good nature and falls in love with him. Though reluctant to marry her, Gopi is convinced to accept her into his life and they marry. Surya Chandra Rao is enraged by this and sends a goon to kill him and in a fight the goon loses and Gopi leaves him at Surya Chandra Rao's house warning him not to enter his life again. The goon is killed by Surya Chandra Rao and Gopi is accused of his murder and is put in jail. The rest of the story forms on how Gopi proves his innocence and how he brings the villains to justice.

Manchi Donga, has Chiranjeevi as Veerendra who liked by one and all. Even though he is a thief, Veerendra he follows certain principles. Suryam and Chandram are father and son who are involved in an illegal occupation. Madhavi (Suhasini) who is a lawyer, meets Veerendra and she is attracted towards him for his kindheartedness towards poor people. Vijaya (Vijayasanthi), a friend of Madhavi enters the city as a police inspector. She warns Veerendra for his activities but Madhavi supports him. Once Veerendra steals an evidence from Gannayya, who is also a corrupt person and this has all the details of the activities of Suryam and Chandram. He hands it over to inspector Vijaya. She is very much impressed with his deed and now develops a soft corner for him. After a couple of songs, veerendra decides to marry Vijaya, while Madhavi sacrifices her silent love for her friend. Veerendra surrenders to the police and is sent to jail. He studies in jail and becomes a police inspector. After his release, he deals with anti-social elements with iron hand and also gets sword of honour for his efforts.

Arjun (Venkatesh) is unemployed but tolerant and kind-hearted stays with his father Dasaradharamayah (P. L. Narayana) and step mother (Tatineni Rajeswari) and step sister Kalyani (Samyutha). One day Arjun beats up a group of ruffians who are thrashing a poor man for not paying extortion taxes headed by Ungarala Ramappa & Ungarala Kishtappa (Paruchuri Brothers) protected by MLA Benerjee (Rao Gopal Rao). With this incident, Arjun's life changes, he invokes the wrath of the local goon. The story begins with four friends Ram Murthy (Satyanarayana) hotel Server, Damodaram (Rao Gopal Rao) Photographer, Kotaiah (Nutan Prasad) Chariot Rider, Bhadraiah (Bheemiswara Rao) bandmaster. Ram Murthy happy with his wife and two sons Raja and Sandeep, Damodaram has a son Siva, even Raja & Siva are also close friends, BBhadraiah has two daughters Lata and Rani. Once a drunker (Allu Ramalingaiah) who cannot pay his bill decides to sell his ticket to the server Ram Murthy and he purchases the ticket with his three friends. When the ticket turns out to be a winner, Damodaram and Kotaiah turn on the other two, murdering Bhadraiah and framing Ram Murthy goes on the run but Kotaiah and Damodaram intervene and throw him over a bridge into a river and soon after Ram Murthy wife also dies in an accident and his two children are taken care by Mary (Sumitra) whom Ram Murthy looks as her own sister, along With her daughter Julie.
