Tom Liam Benedict Burke (born 30 June 1981) is an English actor. His roles include "Giac" in the 2005 TV adaptation of Casanova and Davy in Third Star. He also appeared in the second series of the BBC drama The Hour. He currently stars as Athos in the BBC series The Musketeers.

Biography

Tom Burke est né à Londres et a grandi dans le Kent. Il est le fils de David Burke et de Anna Calder-Marshall qui sont aussi acteurs. Il est le petit-fils de l'écrivain Arthur Calder-Marshall.

Burke a toujours voulu être acteur. Dans son enfance, il participait aux pièces de théâtre que ses parents montaient dans leur ville.

Etant enfant, Burke a été diagnostiqué dyslexique et avait des difficultés scolaires. Il quitte l'école à 17 ans pour se lancer dans sa carrière. Il entre à la Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) à l'âge de 18 ans.

Danny (Jason Maza) wants something more from life having been expelled from school and living in his grandfathers flat, he longs to live up to the image of his estranged father Danny Senior (Ronnie Fox). But when Danny and Dex's paths cross they embark on a journey as old as hooliganism itself. Dex, Danny and The Hooligan Factory travel the length of the country on a mission to re-establish their firm's glory days. However, the police are closing in and we get a sense that the Hooligan Factory's best days may be behind them, but with Danny on their side, and Dex finding his old form who knows where this may lead. After all... It's a funny old game.

Harry (Sam Douglas), a British arms dealer, is seen in bed with a prostitute named Rena (Shivani Ghai). While toying with Harry's pistol, she unloads it but replaces the magazine. Harry's bodyguard Ewan (Sean Bean), is a British Secret Service Agent. Harry and Ewan travel to a bank, transporting a briefcase of Semtex. The men are followed by two terrorists, Ash (Abhin Galeya) and Ibrahim (Mens-Sana Tamakloe). Ibrahim approaches Harry and Ewan from the top of a staircase, shooting at them. After Ewan is shot by Ash twice, Harry tries to shoot Ash, only to discover there are no bullets in his gun. Ash then kills Harry and takes the briefcase of Semtex. However, Ewan manages to shoot Ash in the arm, but before he can apprehend him Ash returns fire and escapes with the briefcase.
