Add to a movie listIt's Not Cricket is a 1949 British comedy film directed by Alfred Roome and starring Basil Radford, Naunton Wayne, Susan Shaw and Maurice Denham. It is the second (after 1941's Crook's Tour) of two starring films for Radford and Wayne who appeared as supporting players in ten other films. It was also one of the final films made by Gainsborough Pictures before the studio was merged into the Rank Organisation.
Synopsis
Major Bright and Captain Early are intelligence officers in the British army of occupation in post-World War 2 Germany. They are sent home on leave, but fail to notice that their new batman is actually wanted war criminal Otto Fisch. He vanishes on arrival in England and the two officers are punished by early demobilisation. Uncertain what to do in civvy street, they decide to utilise the "skills" they learned in the army and set up a private detective agency, "Bright and Early". They engage a secretary, Primrose Brown, but she's not very busy as they have as yet no clients.Actors

Before a major motor race in Italy a man is hired by a British racing team to headhunt the designer of a rival team. However, when he fails, he attempts to steal the team's designs instead. When he is disturbed in the middle of the theft, he is forced to shoot his way out, killing five people. The head of British team plans to cover up the crime by using the race to smuggle the man out the country.

The film begins at a warehouse party with loud music that is attended solely by gangsters. Newly transferred high school senior Takiya Genji (Shun Oguri) arrives at Suzuran All-Boys High School, an institution infamous for its population of violent delinquents. During the freshman orientation assembly, yakuza arrive at the school seeking vengeance on third-year Serizawa Tamao (Takayuki Yamada) for assaulting some members of their gang. Chev Chelios (Jason Statham) is a Chinese-based British hitman, working for a crime syndicate headed by Uglyman (Carlos Sanz). Chelios is contracted by Carlito to kill mafia boss Don Kim (Keone Young) as members of the Triads have been encroaching on Carlito's business. Carlito betrays Chelios by making it appear he assassinated Don Kim on his own, without his authorization. While Chelios sleeps in his apartment, Verona, his brother Alex (Jay Xcala), and several henchmen break in and inject Chelios with a Chinese synthetic drug which inhibits the flow of adrenaline, slowing the heart and eventually killing the victim. Chelios wakes to find a recording left by Verona showing what he has done.

After rescuing U.S. Marshal Ray Carter (Robert Patrick) in Mongolia, the Angels, Dylan (Drew Barrymore), Natalie (Cameron Diaz), and Alex (Lucy Liu) are hired to locate a set of titanium rings called H.A.L.O. (Hidden Alias List Operation) stolen from the Department of Justice that, when put together in a machine, will display a list of all individuals in the witness protection program. Many people, including Justice Department official William Rose Bailey (Bruce Willis), who possessed one of the rings, were murdered in the process. Having discovered that one of the protected witnesses, Alan Caulfield (Eric Bogosian), was murdered in his house in San Bernardino, the Angels investigate the scene and discover evidence suggesting that Caulfield was smothered with a bag and the killer is a surfer with a scar on his left leg. The film follows two con artist brothers, Yipao (Yuen Biao) and Taipao (Bryan Leung). One day they are cheated out of their ill-gotten gains in an encounter with Jia Wu Dao (Lau Kar Wing). Hong Kong treasure hunter Jackie, a.k.a. "Asian Condor", is summoned by Baron Bannon at his mansion in Madrid, Spain, where he is told of a story of a German commander named Hans von Katterling and his regiment burying 240 tons of gold at a secret base deep in the Sahara Desert in Africa before the end of World War II. The 18 soldiers involved in the operation disappeared under mysterious circumstances. By request from the United Nations, Bannon gives Jackie an unofficial mission to locate the base and recover the gold. Aside from acquiring the key to the base, he is partnered with Ada, an expert in African geography. Upon discovery of the gold, Jackie is promised one percent of the treasure, or roughly 2.5 tons of gold.
