Pattalam (English: Crew) is a Tamil language film released in 2009. It stars Nadiya Moidu who plays the role of a school correspondent and psychiatrist who is very close to 9 school going youngsters who are having a blast enjoying their teenage years without any commitments to burden them. Produced by Thirupathi Brothers company.
Synopsis
The film is about two groups of four adolescents in Holy Bells School, who are pitted against each other. Their encounters make up the first part. Daisy (Nadiya Moidu) is the correspondent of the school. A psychologist too, Daisy manages a mental asylum. She believes that students in her school can be disciplined only through love and no hard punishment will reform them. Thanks to her ‘innovative’ ways, these students get united and even helps the school win athletic championship. But a fateful incident on the farewell day snatches the life of a student (Balaji Balakrishnan) and it leaves an impact on others.Actors

Anil (Sumanth Ashwin) is a guy who does not want to settle for an arranged marriage. His mother Sujatha (Rohini) is keen to get him married and he decides to push off to Hyderabad, to escape from the pressure. He has the support of his father (Rao Ramesh). In Hyderabad, he comes across Ananya (Eesha) and falls for her. Ananya is a painter and greeting cards designer and she works for Latha (Jhansi). Anil starts wooing Ananya and she falls for his romantic charms. But Ananya is a little apprehensive about taking the relationship further. Her parents, Sridhar (Ravi Babu), a TV serial creative head and Vidhya (Madhubala), a yoga expert bitten by the acting bug, keep having arguments and this worries her. Anil sets up a company supplying flowers.

Raghunandan is a rich, unhappy businessman based in Milan. He wishes to reconcile with his estranged daughter Sunanda whom he expelled because she married Rajasekhar against his wishes. His grandson Gautham Nanda promises Raghunandan that he will bring her back to their home on his 80th birthday. Sunanda has three daughters: Two of them are Prameela and Sashi.
