Add to a movie listTeenage Cave Man (in the UK called Out of the Darkness) is an independently made 1958 black-and-white science fiction film produced and directed by Roger Corman, starring Robert Vaughn and Darah Marshall. The film was originally shot as Prehistoric World, but the title was changed by its distributor, American International Pictures, and then released on a double feature with How to Make a Monster (1958).
Years later in an interview, Corman stated "I never directed a film called Teenage Caveman". Lead actor Robert Vaughn stated in an interview that he considered Teenage Caveman to be the worst film ever made. It was later featured on the mocking television series Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Synopsis
A tribe of primitive humans lives in a barren, rocky wasteland and struggle for survival, despite a lush, plant-filled land on the other side of a nearby river. They refuse to cross the river because of a law that evolved from an ancient tale warning of a god lurking there who brings death with a single touch.Actors

Dans un petit village côtier, les hommes ne sont pas rentrés de leur dernière expédition, les femmes décident donc de partir à leur recherche, elles sont rejointes par Ottar, le seul homme qui soit resté au village. Leur drakkar est attaqué par un monstre marin gardien du "Vortex". Le Vortex les précipite sur une rive inconnue, elles sont emmenés en esclavage par le peuple Grimault. Elles tentent de résister mais en vain. Le chef des Grimault, Stark convie les esclaves à un banquet où elles sont malmenées. Voulant tester la force des vikings, le fils de Stark, Senya joue une partie de bras de fer avec Desir, la leader des Vikings, Senya gagne la première manche, Desir la seconde mais les chef les empêche de jouer la belle. Stark propose aux femmes viking de venir avec eux à une partie de chasse.au cours de laquelle Senya est à deux doigts de se faire tuer par un sanglier, il est sauvé par Desir qui tue le sanglier, mais il considère ce sauvetage comme une humiliation et revendique pour lui-même la mort du sanglier. On fait visiter aux femmes vikings la grotte où les mâles sont détenus en esclavage. L'une des femmes tente de les faire évader, mais la prêtresse des vikings, la brune Enger, jalouse de Désir, prévient Stark et fait échouer l'évasion. Stark décrète la mise à mort de Désir et de son amant. Deux buchers sont allumés, et le premier qui demandera grâce aura la vie sauve, mais aucun des deux amoureux ne se décide à le faire. Enger regrette son geste et invoque Thor qui provoque un orage, qui éteint les bûchers tandis que la foudre électrocute Senya qui allait se servir de son épée. Les vikings fuit, mais sont sur le point d'être rattrapés par les Grimault, Enger prend un chemin détournée pour faire diversion et se jette de la falaise, les vikings fuient en barque poursuivi par les Grimault, Le monstre marin survient engloutissant les Grimault tandis qu'Ottar parvient à tuer le monstre d'un coup de lance.

Dr. Tom Anderson (Lee Van Cleef), an embittered scientist, has made contact with Zontar, a Venusian creature, while using his radio transmitter. After her husband Scott (William Schallert), the sheriff of Oracle, is killed by two assailants, his widow Rose (Beverly Garland) is named temporary sheriff. That night, Rose asks Erica Page (Allison Hayes) if she can close her saloon in accordance with town regulations. The women fight, but eventually Erica closes for the night. After Rose exits, Erica tells lackey Jake (Jonathan Haze) to hire a killer, which he does, finding a man named Cane Miro (John Ireland). As Cane enters town, Rose shoots at him, mistaking him for a man she has been searching out. She apologizes. Cane tells Rose that he is going to Oracle to see town mayor Gideon Polk (Martin Kingsley).

The farmers of the peaceful planet Akir are threatened by the space tyrant Sador (John Saxon) and his army of mutants, the Malmori. Sador's huge ship carries a weapon called a "Stellar Converter", which turns planets into small stars. He threatens to use the Converter unless the planet submits to him when he returns in several days. Zed (Jeff Corey), the last Akira warrior, is old and nearly blind. He suggests they hire mercenaries to protect the planet. Lacking valuable resources, they can only offer food and shelter in payment. Unable to go himself, Zed offers his ship, which has an artificial intelligence navigation and tactical computer named Nell, for the job if they can find a pilot. The ship is fast and well-armed but cannot defeat Sador alone. Shad (Richard Thomas), a young man who has piloted the ship and is well known to Nell, volunteers for the recruiting mission.

Penniless and straight out of the University of Iowa, Joe (Jerry O'Connell) moves to New York needing an apartment and a job.
