Synopsis
Party animal Rick (James Duval), wild child Veronique (Mircea Monroe), uptight Robert (M.D. Walton) and six other friends vacation in a plush mansion, where they find a mysterious board game. But the game proves dangerous when it draws out the nastiest qualities in all of its players. The film begins with the conclusion of the previous film after Michael Myers (Don Shanks) fell down a mine shaft. The state troopers tossed dynamite down the mine to make sure that Michael was dead. But Michael escapes and stumbles into a nearby river, where he is found by a hermit. Michael falls into a coma for one year while in the hermit's care. On October 30, 1989, Michael awakens, kills the hermit, and returns to terrorize Haddonfield, where his young niece Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris) continues to live after nearly being killed by Michael the year before.

Dora (Chloe Rose) is an average teenager who just wants to have fun and get high with her boyfriend Jace (Luke Bilyk) on Halloween. She's stunned when her doctor Henry (Rossif Sutherland) tells her that she's four weeks pregnant, something that she says shouldn't be possible. Distraught, she goes home to wait for Jace while her mother (Rachel Wilson) takes Dora's younger brother Remi (Peter DaCunha) trick-or-treating. However before her boyfriend can pick her up, Dora is visited by several children in strange costumes. Their presence grows increasingly more menacing, culminating with one bringing her Jace's decapitated head in a bag. Their reason for doing this is that they want her unborn child. From this point on Dora must fight against the monstrous children, a feat made more difficult by the fact that her pregnancy is progressing at an extremely accelerated and unnatural rate.

When Isis tries to leave Roman's apartment he overpowers her and accidentally kills her. He keeps her severed body on ice. A neighbor, Eva pursues him. They have a difficult relationship as neither wants to leave the other in to the other's apartment. When he is handling the frozen foot of Isis, Eva knocks on his door. He hides the foot under his bedclothes and lets her in. While they are in his bed the severed foot falls to the floor unnoticed. Before leaving Eva remarks that something stinks. The next day, Eva leaves a note for him inviting him into her apartment. He finds her apparently lying prostrate. When he realizes she is dead his extreme cries of anguish alert the building superintendent who accuses him of murdering Eva.

Off the coast of Alaska, oceanographer Emma MacNeil (Deborah Gibson) is studying the migration patterns of whales aboard an experimental submarine she took without permission from her employer. Meanwhile, a military helicopter drops experimental sonar transmitters into the water, causing a pod of whales to go out of control and start ramming a nearby glacier. In the chaos, the helicopter crashes into the glacier, and the combined damage breaks the glacier open, thawing two hibernating, prehistoric creatures. MacNeil narrowly avoids destruction as, unknown to her, a giant shark and octopus are freed. Some time later, a drilling platform off the coast of Japan is attacked by the octopus, which has tentacles large enough to wrap around the entire structure. After returning to Point Dume, California, MacNeil investigates the corpse of a beached whale covered with many bloody wounds. Her employer Dick Richie (Mark Hengst) believes them to be from a tanker propeller, but MacNeil insists they appear to be from a creature. Later, she extracts what appears to be a shark’s tooth from one of the wounds. Elsewhere, the huge shark leaps tens of thousands of feet into the air from the ocean and attacks a commercial aircraft, forcing it to crash into the water.

Picking up immediately where the first film ended, Marybeth (Danielle Harris) is attacked by Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder), but manages to escape. Jack Cracker finds her, pulls her out of the river, and takes her back to his cabin. Moments after she leaves, Jack views Shapiro's camcorder, which he found in the swamp. The footage shows Shapiro filming different topless women, including Misty and Jenna. After Jack finishes watching the video, he is killed by Victor Crowley, who gouges his intestines out and strangles him with them until he decapitates him.
