In the summer of 1913, 17-year-old Jacob (Ole Soltoft), a Danish high school student, lives in the frustrating limbo between boyhood and manhood. He is also pursued by his Uncle's employee (Ingolf David), who tries to seduce Jacob. While the Uncle is off on a fishing trip and the Aunt spends the night in town with her lover, Jacob has his first sexual experience with Vibeke—an awkward encounter. Afterwards, when Vibeke leaves for school, Jacob spends his nights with Hansigne—a joyful, uncomplicated and liberated woman. She guides him through his awkwardness and teaches him erotic techniques. One night, Hansigne's boyfriend Knud (Hugo Herrestrup) catches them together and attacks and threatens Jacob. Jacob discovers he finally feels like a man. In great spirits, he returns home after vacation and prepares to accept the advances of Sophie.
Three petty officers have returned from Korea on the battle cruiser USS Rochester where they are due for shore leave in California. Skip and Joe have no money due to losses in a crap game, but their shipmate Francis "Moby" Dickerson has $300 he won in poker. Skip and Joe have constantly taken advantage of Moby throughout their cruise and once again beg some money off him. Moby wishes to spend his leave on Santa Catalina but his shipmates take an unwilling Moby to an off-limits clip joint bar where bargirls and a bartender drug and rob them of all their money.
Amjad Khan who played the iconic villain Gabbar Singh in the original film returns to the role of Gabbar in this film. The film features lookalike actors Vijay Saxena who resembles Amitabh Bachchan (who played Jai in the original Sholay), Kishore Bhanushali who resembles Dev Anand as well as lookalike actors of Anil Kapoor and Govinda. The movie did good business in the small theaters.
Pedda Babu (Kota Srinivasa Rao) and Chinna Babu (Tanikella Bharani) are step brothers and also neighbors each with a beautiful daughter. Balaraju (Sunil) gets insulted when he visits the house of Chinna Babu for a marriage proposal. The plot of the film is about corruption in India. It opens with Gopi Krishnan (Sreenivasan) and his wife (Devayani) and daughter Dhanya (Nazriya Nazim) enjoying themselves at Kutralam Waterfalls. Soon it is revealed that Gopi Krishnan is a corrupt assistant town planner using a government vehicle to come on holiday in Tamil Nadu during his duty hours. As his driver (Suraj Venjaramood) takes him back to his station in Kerala he has an altercation with protagonist Sukumaran (Mohanlal), whose identity and profession are not yet revealed.
