Biography
Il commence son travail dans le monde du cinéma en 1938 comme assistant réalisateur de Gennaro Righelli, avec lequel il fait sept films en deux ans. Juste après la fin de la Deuxième guerre mondiale, il présente son premier film propre : Felicità perduta, auquel fait suite en 1947 Eleonora Duse, peu diffusé. Après quelques travaux de routine, où il est ordinairement lui-même son propre scénariste, il réalise en 1961 son premier tournage sur les événements de l'Attentat de Via Rasella et ses conséquences : Furie des S.S.. Il continue dans des œuvres semblables, tandis qu'il réalise sous le pseudonyme de Peter Rush des films que l'on classe aujourd'hui en série Z, comme le film d'horreur La notte dei dannati, ou encore, à partir de 1976, trois films érotiques.La date de sa mort en 1981 n'est pas certifiée.

Antonio Trabbi is a greedy old man with a very rough personality and obsessed by money. He deprecates charity and love and has no friends or love interest, being lonely and avoided by people. On Christmas Eve he is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, who warns him about his life-style and announces the visit of three spirits, who will show Antonio past, present and future Christmas days. During the night, the three spirits actually appear to Trabbi, showing him his sad past, the bad reputation he has with everyone and the bad outcome of his actions, which will lead him to a lonely death and to terrible punishments in Hell. When Trabbi wakes up he is greatly distressed by the visions and eager to change his life, starting with that very same Christmas Day.
