Haruhiko Arai (荒井 晴彦, Arai Haruhiko, born 1947) is a Japanese screenwriter. He is also publisher and editor of the Eiga Geijutsu magazine.

Biography

Arai won the Mainichi Film Award for best screenplay for the film W's Tragedy.

He wrote the screenplay for Junji Sakamoto's KT (2001).

He also wrote the screenplays for Ryuichi Hiroki's films Vibrator (2003) and It's Only Talk (2005).
