Friends of the first part can be found in the ski resort of Val d'Isere where Jerome, Gigi and Popeye work. Popeye is now much less sure of himself: humiliated by his wife cheating on him with his cousin, he claims his friends that he is the manager of a ski shop when it was held by the same couple. During an exit off piste skiing, the group loses before being rescued by mountain peasants, which will make them taste artisan food and drink: first of pussy - a strong cheese soaked in fat , rinds, and wood alcohol for two or three seasons - and the shallot liquor found in garlic juice "because shallot alone, it s'rait too bland" in a parody of the famous scene Tontons gunslingers.
