Wendey Stanzler is an American film editor and television director.
She was co-editor and associate producer of Michael Moore's documentary, Roger & Me in 1990. She also co-edited Moore's only fiction film, Canadian Bacon (1993). Stanzler was hired as an editor for Sex and the City and went on to be a guest director during the final season of the series. Stanzler has also edited for the series, Ed and Now and Again and the romantic comedy film Gray Matters (2007), directed by Sue Kramer, starring Heather Graham, Tom Cavanagh and Bridget Moynahan. Stanzler was producer and director on the first season of the CW series 90210 in 2008-2009, her only television producing credit to date.
She has directed several episodes of Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, The Middle and Ugly Betty, all on ABC as well as The Vampire Diaries, Pretty Little Liars, Parks and Recreation and among other series. In 2011, she directed the pilot episode of the ABC Family series The Nine Lives of Chloe King.
She won the American Cinema Editors' Eddie Award twice: in 2004 for the Sex in the City episode "American Girl in Paris, part 2" and in 1990 for Roger and Me.
In 2003 and 2004, Stanzler was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for her editing work on Sex and the City.

Michael Moore begins by introducing himself and his family through 8 mm archival home movies; he describes himself as the Irish American Catholic middle-class son of a General Motors employee assembling AC spark plugs. Moore chronicles how GM had previously defined his childhood in Flint, Michigan, and how the company was the primary economic and social hub of the town. He points out that Flint is the place where the Flint Sit-Down Strike occurred, resulting in the birth of the United Auto Workers. He reveals that his heroes were the Flint natives who had escaped the oppressive life in GM's factories, including "Flint's most famous native son," game show host Bob Eubanks.

Gray Baldwin (Heather Graham), a family oriented and quiet bachelorette, lives a close-knit life with her brother, Sam (Tom Cavanagh). Their lifestyle is generally co-dependent, involving them living together, going to dance classes together, etc. Gray and Sam's relationship has never been thought of as strange, but once a dinner party guest mistakes the siblings as a couple, Gray and Sam decide to venture outside of one another. While discussing with each other what they can do about their single lifestyles, and how they can "hook each other up" with a significant other, their conversation continues to the park, where Gray spots a possible girlfriend for Sam, Charlie Kelsey (Bridget Moynahan). Gray introduces herself, then Charlie to Sam, and they instantly bond, agreeing to see each other again.

Thousands of former employees are outraged with military businessman R.J. Hacker (G. D. Spradlin), who had closed down his weapons manufacturing plant, Hacker Dynamics. At a conference held at the former plant, he pins the blame for the shutdown of his business on the current President of the United States (Alan Alda), who has just arrived. The President defends his own belief that the future of the children is more important than war, which has caused major decline in his approval rating. After the conference, he expresses to confidantes General Dick Panzer (Rip Torn) and National Security Advisor Stuart Smiley (Kevin Pollak) his discontent about not having an enemy to engage in war. An attempted negotiation with Russian President Vladimir Kruschkin (Richard E. Council) to start a new cold war with Russia fails, and the President's suggestion of a war on international terrorism is deemed too absurd.
