Yoram Globus (born 21 October 1941), is an Israeli film producer who is most famous for his association with Cannon Films Inc., a company he ran with his cousin Menahem Golan.
The cousins bought The Cannon Group production company in 1979 and managed it throughout the 1980s. Because of their fast, low-budget style of filmmaking, they earned the nickname "the Go-Go Boys". However, quite a few of the films produced by the Cannon Group have become quite renowned, including Runaway Train (1985) and Godfrey Reggio's second film of the "Qatsi" trilogy, Powaqqatsi (1988). The Cannon Group's library of films is now part of MGM.

Biography
Yoram Globus est né près du Lac de Galilée en Israël de parents immigrants polonais. A ses 3 ans, la famille déménage à Kiryat-Motzkin, près d'Haifa. Deux ans plus tard, son père, Shmuel Globus, construit alors un cinéma unique pour l'époque. Yoram aide alors son père et devient projectionniste à 10 ans.Yoram part au lycée de Tel Aviv, où ses parents créent un nouveau cinéma.

Like the 1986 film Gothic, Haunted Summer is set in 1816. Authors Lord Byron, Mary Shelley (née Godwin) and Percy Shelley get together for some philosophical discussions, but the situation soon deteriorates into mind games, drugs, and sex. Shatter (Chuck Norris) and Jackson (Calvin Levels) are two Chicago police officers sent to investigate the brutal murder of a rabbi. As the investigation begins, Shatter and Jackson are summoned to Israel for questioning. Upon arrival, they realize that they are, in fact, pursuing a supernatural being - Satan's emissary, Prosatanos - who tried to wrest control of the world from God during the crusades. Prosatanos, however, was stopped by King Richard who trapped him in a subterranean tomb. During this encounter with King Richard, the source of Prosatanos' power - his scepter - was shattered into nine pieces which were subsequently sent to nine holy places around the world. These pieces remained safe until the end of the 20th century when Prosatanos was inadvertently freed from the tomb by two unsuspecting grave robbers. Prosatanos eventually collects all nine pieces of his scepter. Detectives Shatter and Jackson must now fight him to save the world.
