Add to a movie listAjantha is a 2012 Tamil-language Indian feature film produced and directed by Rajppa Ravishankar. The film was simultaneously shot in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages too with different starcast.
Ilavarasu, was responsible for the film's cinematography and Ilaiyaraaja composed the music. The film started in 2006 and was in making for three years. The Tamil version was released on 9 November 2012 and the Malayalam version on 19 July 2012.
The lead role was played by Vinu Mohan in Malayalam, Ramana in Tamil, Sai Kiran in Telugu and Venkatesh in the Kannada version. Vandana Gupta played the female lead in the Tamil and Telugu version, while Honey Rose was female lead in the Malayalam and Kannada version.
Synopsis
In this film, Vinu Mohan / Ramana plays an upcoming musician. After finishing a recording, he is on his way home when he sees an artist creating art on the street and he is stricken with awe. Onlookers are giving the artist a few rupees each but not as much as the artist expected. At this point, it begins to rain and the drawing begins to dissolve as the onlookers disperse. Vinu Mohan / Ramana hands over his entire 'bata' for the day to the artist.Actors

The film, set at City Centre, a shopping mall in Kochi as backdrop, is all about a few youngsters, Roy and Sanju and their love interests, Annie and Meenakshy. Long-ignored and mistreated by society for reasons none of theirs, they decide to take matters into their own hands. Roy (Vineeth Sreenivasan) is an accountant in a private financing company of Kaustubhan, (deftly played with ease and characteristic gags by Jagathy) who pays his staff, the modest of all salaries. Dr. Sandhya (Sangeetha) is kidnapped from her home by a gang and taken to another location, where she is questioned about her husband's whereabouts.
