Arush Mehra (Akshay Kumar) lives a fairly wealthy lifestyle in Sydney, Australia with roommates Tanmay Joglekar (Ritesh Deshmukh) and Ali Haider (Fardeen Khan). Sapna (Karisma Kapoor) has been brought up by her three doting, but eccentric uncles. Uncle no. 1 (Paresh Rawal) is a Hindu religious fanatic, while Uncle. No. 2 (Om Puri) is a former wrestler who is very in to fitness, and makes Sapna do intense workout routines daily. Uncle no. 3 (Anupam Kher) is in to fashion and western music. The uncles all wish for her to marry, but their differences clash, as each of them want the boy to have the same interests as them. Sapna is tired of dancing to her uncle's tunes all her life, and wishes to take a group trip to Europe. However, when she expresses her wishes to her nanny, Mary (Himani Shivpuri), her uncles fire the nanny for giving Sapna such foolish ideas. However, Mary works for another family, and tells them of Sapna's plight. She shares Sapna's photo with Raja (Salman Khan). He is pleased with her photo and is determined to make her his bride. Meanwhile, Sapna looks to a last resort and tries to run away, but Uncle no. 3 catches her and volunteers to take her to the airport himself. On her travels through Europe, Raja creates nothing but trouble for her, but circumstances separate them from the rest of the tour group, and Raja saves Sapna's life. They fall in love, and wish to marry once they return to India, but Raja must first impress all three of her uncles. Through a series of comic events, Raja wins their hearts. He and Sapna happily marry in the end.

Daata Guru (Amrish Puri) is a wealthy, powerful, and influential head of a village. He owns and controls all the villagers and their properties. Ravi Yadav (Vinod Khanna) is the servant of Manohar Singh (Rajiv Verma). He has a younger brother, Rohan Yadav (Salman Khan) who he wishes to see as a successful and good lawyer. Manohar's wife starts to teach Ravi English so he can get a good job when he goes to Mumbai and that he can afford Rohan's school and college expenses, but Manohar feels insecure and plans to jail Ravi. Ravi is falsely accused of Raping his lover: Parvati, and sentenced to 12 years in prison because the real rapist killed Parvati and then told the court that Ravi has raped her. Manohar's wife Renuka (Moushumi Chatterjee) assures Ravi that she will help Rohan in becoming a lawyer. 12 years later, when Ravi comes out of prison Rohan's whereabouts are unknown. Rohan, in the meantime, has been adopted by famous lawyer Gujral (Saeed Jaffrey), and his wife Yashoda (Reema Lagoo), and is now known as Vasudev Gujral, a lawyer by profession. Vasudev falls in love with Payal Singh (Karisma Kapoor), who happens to be Manohar's daughter. Ravi finds out that Renuka is alive but her memory is diminished after Manohar tries to kill her. Manohar is unaware of Renuka being alive.He starts medical treatment for Renuka. To earn the needed money, he accepts a contract to kill Vasudev Gujral because he is told that Vasu has raped and then killed a women and by killing Vasu he is helping the women's mother in revenge, little knowing that he is about to kill his own innocent long-separated brother.

The story is about Raj (Akshay Kumar) & Ajay(Ajay Devgan) who are best friends studying in the same college. Pooja (Karisma Kapoor) & Madhu (Nagma) are their respective girlfriends. Raj is from a rich family. He stays with his uncle (Gufi Paintal) as his father (Dalip Tahil) lives in another town. Ajay Sharma was born on 2 April 1967 and lives in Bombay with his widowed mother Asha (Aruna Irani). Raj treats Ajay's mother as his own mother & they share a brotherly relationship. After graduating from college, Raj's maternal uncle asks Ajay to bring his birth certificate so that he can make his passport and find work for him in Canada. Ajay goes home to look for his birth certificate and finds out that his real name is Ajay Malhotra and his father, Dr. Ravi Malhotra (Romesh Sharma), is still alive, serving a life sentence in prison for stealing a patient's organs. Ajay questions his mother and finds out that his father was framed by the hospital owner, Rai Bahadur (Suresh Oberoi). Upon discovering the truth, Raj and Ajay go to fight Rai Bahadur & release his father. In the course of their investigation it is revealed that Raj's father whose name is Dr. Sinha (Dalip Tahil) also a key member of the Rai Bahadur's hospital & was involved in framing Ajay's father. Rai bahadur counterattacks by killing Raj's father before he could go to court. Then Raj and Ajay bring the corpse of Dr.Sinha in courtroom just before the deadline of time of case. They create an illusion that Dr. Sinha is still alive and by that they made corpse pointing finger at Rai bahadur. Angry Rai tries to shoots at him into the court. Then in the chase of police he got killed.

Orphaned when his mother dies of hunger, Babu (Akshay Kumar) is corrupted by Sultan, an ambitious criminal mastermind. He grows up to become "Badshah", a professional criminal working for Sultan. The story starts with Badshah and Abdul robbing a jewellery store and being chased by the police but the police lose track of them. The next day Badshah sees Sapna (Karishma Kapoor) singing and dancing for money. Badshah notices her ripped clothes and gives her money for new clothes and she says that he was the first person to realise that. Inspector Pradhan comes to Badshah and tells him that he knows that Badshah committed the robbery from the previous night. When Badshah and Abdul go to exchange weapons for money with other gangs, the police interrupts. Immediately, Badshah and Abdul run away and a car chase ensues between Inspector Pradhan, and Baadshah and Abdul. In the process, Badshah is shot in the arm and both their vehicles end up falling off a cliff and crashing to the ground. With Inspector Pradhan trapped in his vehicle, which is near exploding, Badshah helps Pradhan get out but Pradhan, whom is resolved to his duty, in his injured state tries to put him under arrest. Badshah knocks Pradhan out but the car explodes injuring Badshah.
