Honey (Turkish: Bal) is a 2010 Turkish drama film directed by Semih Kaplanoğlu, the third and final installment of the "Yusuf Trilogy", which includes Egg and Milk. It premiered on 16 February 2010 in competition at the 60th Berlin International Film Festival, where it became the third Turkish film, after Susuz Yaz in 1964 and Head-On in 2004, to win the Golden Bear award. The film, which went on general release across Turkey on 9 April 2010, was selected as Turkey's official candidate for the Best Foreign Film Oscar at the 83rd Academy Awards but it did not make the final shortlist.
Synopsis
In the remote and undeveloped eastern Black Sea region, a six-year-old boy (Yusuf) wanders through the woods searching for his lost father, trying to make sense of his life. His father is a beekeeper whose bees have disappeared unexpectedly, threatening his livelihood. A bizarre accident kills the father. There is little dialogue or music in the film. The three main characters (Yusuf and his parents) are all fairly taciturn, and the soundtrack is filled out with the sounds of the forest and the creatures that live there. The environment is a recurring theme.Actors

On her way to school, a young girl named So-won (which literally means "wish" or "hope" in Korean) gets sexually assaulted by a drunk older male stranger. As a result, she suffers multiple internal injuries and has to undergo a major surgery, but her emotional wounds are equally difficult to heal. Their happy family shattered, her parents Dong-hoon and Mi-hee go through feelings of pain and rage. From the trauma of that day, So-won refuses to see or talk to her father, so Dong-hoon hides beneath the costume of his daughter's favorite cartoon character and becomes a "guardian angel" at her side. Thanks to the love of those around her, So-won's condition gradually improves. At the sight of So-won slowly finding stability and laughter, her family also begins to change and enters a new phase in their lives, trying to find hope in the midst of their sorrow and despair.

The opening of the film depicts teenager Ken Park (nicknamed "Krap Nek") skateboarding across Visalia. He arrives at a skate park, where he casually sits in the middle of it, sets up a camcorder, and shoots himself in the head with a handgun. His death is used to set up the rest of the film, which follows the lives of four other teens he used to hang out with, shortly before the suicide.

Hiroshi Hada, a Japanese businessman in a troubled marriage, sees a woman being groped in a crowded Tokyo subway. Ce film raconte l'histoire de Nelly (Corinne Luchaire), jeune détenue rebelle au grand cœur, et d'Yvonne (Annie Ducaux), nouvellement promue directrice de maison de correction pour jeunes filles. Au début du film, Yvonne, jeune directrice aux méthodes novatrices, prend en charge la direction d'un établissement pénitentiaire pour jeunes filles situé dans les environs de Nice. Les sévices et autres brimades infligés aux pensionnaires par l'ancienne directrice et ses subordonnées ne font qu'envenimer la situation parmi les détenues. Ne supportant pas le traitement infligé à la pauvre Nelly, après une bagarre suite au déchargement d'un camion de charbon, Yvonne décide de faire appliquer sur-le-champ ses nouvelles méthodes « pédagogiques », ce qui a pour effet de rendre les détenues, la jeune Nelly en tête, plus calmes et civilisées. Nelly finit par se faire nommer « aide-soignante » dans l'infirmerie de la prison, et succombe vite au charme du docteur Guy Maréchal (Roger Duchesne), qui n'est autre que le fiancé d'Yvonne. Nelly, apprenant la liaison du médecin et d' Yvonne, choisit de ne pas dénoncer sa camarade Renée (Ginette Leclerc), laquelle a volé de l'alcool à l'infirmerie et s'est saoulée, non sans avoir semé la zizanie dans la prison. Par loyauté envers Yvonne qui n'est toujours pas au courant de sa liaison avec le docteur Maréchal, Nelly choisit de porter le chapeau pour le vol d'alcool. Mais Renée finit par tout avouer à Yvonne, qui choisit de pardonner à Nelly, et laisse partir son prétendant à Pondichéry sans elle. Tout ceci se conclut par la libération de la jeune Nelly, et conforte Yvonne dans ses méthodes humanistes de directrice de prison.
