It stars Arya Babbar, Yuvraj Hans (son of Hans Raj Hans), Harish Verma, Jividha Ashta, Kajal Jain, Jenny Ghottra in lead roles and directed by Anurag Singh. The film was released on 7 October 2011. The film featured the song Tera Ishq Soniye by Lehmber Hussainpuri

Synopsis

Yaar Annmulle is the story of three friends - Guru, Deep and Sher Singh, who are studying in a university and are staying together in the hostel of the same university. Sher Singh, who is a typical village boy with hardly any knowledge of English, falls in love with a girl who was born and brought up in Canada and who talks in English. Guru, who has been failing in the same class for the last two years, falls in love with a girl who has always been a class topper and is the most intelligent girl in class. And Deep, a shy Hindu boy, falls in love with a girl who belongs to a family of hardcore desi Jatts.

The beginning of the film is set in 1951 in a small village of Idar in Sabarkantha district, northern Gujarat, a young man named Gurukant "Guru" Desai (Abhishek Bachchan) dreams of making it big some day. His father (Rajendra Gupta), the headmaster of the village school, tells him not to dream and that dreams never come true. Gurukant decides to go to Turkey and enter the spice trade; later, he is promoted but refuses the job, as he wants to work for himself. Back in his village, he marries Sujata (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan), mainly because of the dowry she brings him. Along with Sujata and her brother Jignesh (Arya Babbar), Guru migrates to Bombay and starts trading in cloth. Gradually, he expands his business and sets up manufacturing units of his own, under the name "Shakti Corporation".

U.S. based Anjali Thapar (Amrita Rao) has repeated dreams of a parallel life in India, the temple of Devi Maa Durga, & some sword-wielding men on horseback. Anjali does not know that Tejeshwar is still alive, is a powerful minister in the Indian Government, and has decided that he will make history repeat itself by separating the two lovers again - this time with the help of the government machinery.
