Kasia Smutniak (full name Katarzyna Anna Smutniak) is a Polish born actress and model. She starred in the movie From Paris with Love. She was born in Piła, Wielkopolskie, Poland. She speaks fluent Polish, Russian, English and Italian.

Biography

Katarzyna Anna Smutniak est née le 13 août 1979 à Piła en Pologne, fille d'un général de l'armée de l'air polonaise.

Elle a commencé sa carrière de modèle à l'âge de 15 ans après avoir remporté une deuxième place en Pologne du concours Look of the Year de l'agence Elite.

À seize ans, elle obtient sa licence de pilote.

Elle vit en Italie et travaille majoritairement avec des couturiers et des cinéastes italiens.

En 2012 elle est la maîtresse de cérémonie du 69e Festival de Venise.


Vie privée
Elle était la compagne de l'acteur Pietro Taricone jusqu'à la mort de celui-ci, à la suite d'un accident de parachutisme survenu le 29 juin 2010. Leur fille Sophie est née en 2004.

Elle partage actuellement la vie du producteur Domenico Procacci.
