Annapurna Studios (Telugu: అన్నపూర్ణ స్టూడియోస్) is a leading Film & Television studio and production house located in Hyderabad, India. It was established in 1955 by the veteran Telugu actor Nageswara Rao Akkineni and the Studio was started in 1975. It provides various production facilities, including studio floors for set construction, outdoor sets, editing, dubbing and Digital Intermediate suites. The non-profit Annapurna International School of Film and Media is situated on the grounds of Annapurna Studios.

Radha Mohan and Krishna Veni are a couple leading a miserable marital life due to several misunderstandings and decide to apply for divorce. They die on 14 February 1983 at 10:20 AM near a clock tower on their way to the lawyer's office. Their son, Nageswara Rao, becomes a rich and influential businessman and happens to come across his parents' lookalikes, Nagarjuna and Priya. After befriending them, Rao decides to re-establish them as a couple but is shocked when Nagarjuna introduces his lover, Prema. Rao manages to dissolve the relationship with the help of his personal adviser, Girish Karnad. Unaware of this, Nagarjuna swears not to fall in love with anyone. At the same clock tower, Rao meets Dr. Anjali and falls in love with her at first sight. He helps her in admitting an injured old man to a nearby hospital and donates his blood. The injured man, Chaitanya, is shocked upon seeing the pair as they resemble his deceased parents, Seetharamudu and Ramalakshmi.

Karthik is a rich post graduate from ISB who completes his studies and comes back to India after a world tour. One fine day, he spots Nandana and falls head over heels for her. However Nandana develops hatred for Karthik because of few circumstances. When Karthik proposes to her, she rejects him point blank. Karthik's maternal uncle Pandu returns from Dubai and because of his hatred towards Karthik, he plans to take revenge by letting Karthik's parents arrange a bride for marriage against his wishes. The bride accidentally turns out to be Nandana and Karthik accepts to marry her. She is not interested but she can't oppose her father because of her love towards her father. When she tries to reject the marriage, both of their parents complete the procedures and they are pronounced engaged.

Bhai (Akkineni Nagarjuna) is the most skilled and trusted enforcer of a Hong Kong-based Don, named David (Ashish Vidyarthi). David is heavily dependent on Bhai for his day-to-day operations and this is resented by David’s sons, James (Sonu Sood) and Tony (Ajay). David sends Bhai to Hyderabad, to finish off an undercover police officer who is disrupting the mafia operations in the city. In the due course, Bhai bumps into Radhika (Richa Gangopadhyay), a horticulturist who falls in love with Bhai after few incidents. However, Bhai never accepts her proposal. Bhai begins hunting down the undercover officer and uncovers his identity. The cop is none other than Arjun (Prasanna) and Bhai decides to finish him off. On the day of the trial, Bhai finds out that Arjun is his brother after seeing his father Raghava along with Arjun. He drops the plan and tries to walk out from the place. But the visuals of Bhai aiming Arjun with a gun are recorded about which Bhai is not aware of. However, Arjun is attacked by a few disguised armed men and all of them are killed by Arjun. Much to the shock of Bhai, one of the deceased is Tony, who sets out to India on the suggestion of James in order to kill Arjun and gain David's appreciation. David is taken aback after realizing the truth and is hell bent on killing Arjun.

The film is set in the Nelakondapalli village of Adilabad district in Nizam Princely State of Hyderabad of the late 1940s. But Kalidasu does not believe that she is lunatic and suspects her that she is pretending. Once some goons led by Pratap and Ajay (Vinodkumar and Ajay) reach Guntur and take away Mirchi after killing Basha.

The hero moves into Vizag and stays in an apartment hiding his identity to take revenge on the mafia dons. Finally his quest for revenge is completed, and also he eliminates the anti-social elements in the society by killing them.

Karthik (Nagarjuna) is a rich architect in Ooty. He falls in love with Padhu (Gracy Singh). Padmavathi takes her own sweet time to accept Karthik's love. Padmavathi has a cute cousin sister Bhanu (Shriya). Bhanu encourages their love and gives courage to Padhu. When Padhu reveals about her love, her father Rama Chandraiah (K. Viswanath) resists and asks her to marry the guy he has chosen for her. Padhu flees from home and marries Karthik. Padmavathi is very eager to get back to her parents and get their blessings. Karthik and Padmavathi migrate to New Zealand and they give birth to a kid named Lucky. Padhu dies in an accident. Rama Chandraiah has a very big joint family. A few of the family members opine that inviting Karthik and his kid for a marriage to happen at their place would give an opportunity to get a closer look at Lucky. When Karthik visits Rama Chandraiah's place he gets mixed responses from different people in the house. Rama Chandraiah doesn't like Karthik and others like him. Over a period of time, Karthik impresses them all and when he was about to go back to New Zealand, Rama Chandraiah expresses his repentance for whatever happened and says that he is accepting Karthik as his son-in-law. Bhanu has fallen in love with Karthik. She meets Karthik, a widower now. She still has feelings for him. But at the same time, there is Pawan (Prabhu Deva) - a childhood friend of Bhanu - who is deeply in love with her. Karthik returns to New Zealand. Bhanu along with Pawan visits Karthik. During that period, Bhanu gets closer to Karthik. When Karthik realizes the intentions of Bhanu, he fixes Pawan as the fiancée for her. Now Bhanu is about to get married to Pawan. Bhanu loves Karthik, but Karthik hesitates to repeat the history by marrying a girl against the wishes of her family. Just as Karthik is about to leave for good with his son, Rama Chandraiah stops him from leaving and pleads him to marry Bhanu. Also, Pawan comes and pleads Karthik to marry Bhanu as he can tell that Bhanu is not happy about the marriage. The film has a happy ending with Karthik and Bhanu marrying.

Justice Ram Mohan Rao (ANR) is a retired honest judge who lives with a joint family. His wife Parvathi (Rohini Hattangadi) hates her husband since he made the police find his second son Venu (Brahmaji) who was a wanted Naxalite. Actually, Ram Mohan Rao thought he could make Venu, surrender to police but accidentally Venu dies in Police encounter. Parvathi blames Ram Mohan Rao as the murderer and stops speaking to him from that day. They have two more sons and one daughter.
