Puli Bidda (translation:Son of the Tiger) is a 1981 Telugu sports drama film directed by V. Madhusudhan Rao and produced by N. Seshagiri Rao under Heramba Chitra Mandir. The film stars Krishnam Raju and Sridevi in the lead roles.
It is a remake of the 1978 Kannada film Thayige Thakka Maga, starring Dr.Rajkumar and Padmapriya which was also remade in Hindi as Main Intequam Loonga (1982) starring Dharmendra and Reena Roy.
The soundtrack was composed by Chakravarthy. Krishnam Raju acted as a boxer in the film.

Two years after throwing his fight with Tank Murdock at the end of Every Which Way but Loose, Philo Beddoe (Clint Eastwood) keeps fighting in underground bareknuckle boxing matches to make money on the side. Jim Kelly (Charles Ray) works for a railroad express company in a small Midwest town. After years of heavy lifting, he has developed quite a punch. He is infatuated with Kitty Haskell (Colleen Moore), the daughter of his boss (J.P. Lockner), whom he has worked with for years. Jim has a rival for Kitty's attentions, a city boy who one day watches Mr. Haskell deposit money in the railroad safe. He memorized the combination and later steals the deposit from the safe. Suspicion for the theft falls on both Mr. Haskell and Jim, and Jim decides to go on the run, thinking that Mr. Haskell is guilty and hoping to divert attention from him. Shortly after Rocky Balboa's victory over Ivan Drago in Moscow, he, his wife Adrian, his brother-in-law Paulie, and his trainer Tony "Duke" Evers return to the U.S., where they are greeted by Rocky's son Robert. Brown plays Gink Schiner, a third-rate fighter who is at the same training camp as Georges La Verne (played by Georges Carpentier), a contender for the heavyweight championship. Although he needs to be concentrating all of his energies on the upcoming bout, Georges keeps getting distracted: Norine Lloyd, a society dame, has a distinct interest in him, but the interest is strictly one-sided. Georges prefers Sue, an old buddy and confidante. Gink has woman trouble of his own, as his flirtations do not sit at all well with Toots (played by Winnie Lightner), his erstwhile girlfriend. More trouble arrives when Larkin, manager of current heavyweight champ Bob Morgan, appears at the camp with the goal of fixing the fight. He is sent packing, after which he attempts to slip a Mickey Finn to the challenger—a plan which goes awry when Gink switches the drinks. Meanwhile, Gink, who is fighting in a preliminary in advance of the big fight, actually wins. Things don't look so bright for Georges, who initially gets the worst of it in his encounter with Morgan, but who eventually comes out on top.
