It is the first Malayalam movie which has been produced through online Crowdfunding program. This is an initiative of Kazhcha Chalachithra Vedi, a film society movement based in Thiruvananthapuram. Kazhcha has a history of producing short movies with the financial contribution from film lovers. Oraalppokkam is the fourth venture of Kazhcha. It is claimed that Oraalppokkam will be Copyleft after 5 years from the date of release.
Synopsis
The storyline of the movie revolves round an honest man-woman relationship in the backdrop of a natural calamity. Mahendran and Maya are in a living together relationship. They have their own independent life even while they are living as couple. Slowly the relationship ends up in a usual pattern and Mahendran the protagonist decides to separate. Maya leaves him and disappears without revealing her whereabouts. But the separation which is more or less forced and unnatural causes imbalance in the life of Mahendran. His curiosity to know the whereabouts of Maya mounts slowly and he starts a journey in search of her. At the end of the journey he reaches the flood affected Himalayan mountain valley Kedarnath. The story develops through the people he meets on the way and his dreams.Actors

This film is a narrative by Sufi (Babu Antony), a Muslim scholar. Karthy (Sharbani Mukherjee) belongs to a prestigious Hindu tharavadu. A large caravan of settlers attempt to cross the Oregon Trail. Breck Coleman (John Wayne) is a young trapper who just got back to Missouri from his travels near Santa Fe, seeking to avenge the death of an old trapper friend who was killed the winter before along the Santa Fe Trail for his furs, by Red Flack (Tyrone Power, Sr.) and his minion Lopez (Charles Stevens). At a large trading post owned by a man named Wellmore, Coleman sees Flack and suspects him right away as being one of the killers. Flack likewise suspects Coleman as being somebody who knows too much about the killing. Coleman is asked by a large group of settlers to scout their caravan west, and declines, until he learns that Flack and Lopez were just hired by Wellmore to boss a bull train along the as-yet-unblazed Oregon Trail to a trading post north of Oregon, owned by another Missouri fur trader. Coleman agrees to scout for the train, so he can keep an eye on the villains and kill them as soon as they reach their destination. The caravan of settlers in their Prairie schooners would follow Wellmore's ox-drawn train of Conestoga Wagons, as the first major group of settlers to move west on the Oregon Trail. The action takes place between 1837 and 1845. This is historically accurate, as the first major wave of settlers on the Oregon Trail was in 1843, although the details were completely different.

Following the events of the first film, Princess Fantaghirò and Prince Romualdo are due to be married. But the Black Witch, an evil ruler of the Dark Kingdom, is disgusted by their love and wishes to destroy it, and to this end she kidnaps Fantaghirò's father. The couple decide to hold off their wedding, and Romualdo leads their army to save Fantaghirò's father. On the journey to the Dark Kingdom, Romualdo and his men encounter Forest Elves and their Queen, who force them to submit to a series of tests to prove that their intentions are pure. Romualdo passes and the army continue on their way. They eventually reach the borders to the Dark Kingdom where they make camp for the night before attacking the castle. As they are resting, the Black Witch, magically disguised to look like Fantaghirò, arrives and seduces Romualdo to kiss her. He faints and the witch takes him to her castle where she makes him her lover.

Based on Neil Swanson's Unconquered, a Novel of the Pontiac Conspiracy, the film focuses on "Abby" Hale (Paulette Goddard), who is condemned to death by a British court, then offered clemency if she will become an indentured servant in America. There is a bidding competition between Captain Christopher Holden (Gary Cooper) and Martin Garth (Howard Da Silva), which Holden wins. He then sets her free. Unfortunately, Garth is a sore loser; he kidnaps Abby and takes her to the western frontier, where he is involved in illegal arms sales to the Native Americans.
