It tells the story of a man who out of frustration discovers that he has the ability to walk through walls. The film is based on the novella The Man Who Walked Through Walls by Marcel Aymé.
Synopsis
M. Buchsbaum, petit fonctionnaire des impôts, est un homme heureux jusqu'à l'arrivée d'un nouveau superviseur qui ne l'aime pas. Il va voir son ancien professeur qui est déçu de sa carrière. Buchsbaum lui explique qu'il fait bien son travail, mais que ce n'est pas ce qu'il y a de mieux dans sa vie, que quelque chose lui manque. Il avait de grands projets, mais il y a toujours eu un mur. Le professeur lui répond que c'est juste une excuse, simplement un manque de confiance en soi.Actors

À Brooklyn, des émigrants italiens vivent modestement dans un immeuble où habite également l'avocat Bossi, leur propriétaire, un homme violent et impitoyable. The three films follow the same basic plot, where a senior police detective is attached to elucidate the murder of a little girl. As the detective hopes for leads while talking with the mother of the murdered girl, he pledges to find her killer – and so, even after leaving the police force, he embarks upon buying a gasoline shop in the remote area where he hopes to find the criminal, and uses a little girl as bait to attract the killer. His trap is ultimately successful in ensnaring the murderer.

Dans le service de maternité du Dr Peter Heidt, la docteur Elisabeth Keller et l'infirmière Hedwig sont confrontées chaque jour à de nouveaux destins de femme. Comme Else Koschitzky qui vient d'accoucher de sa troisième fille dans le monde, pleure tous les jours pendant l'allaitement, son mari est tellement déçu par l'absence de fils qu'il ne veut pas se rendre à son chevet. Josepha Spratt, deux fois veuve, a mis un enfant au monde, mais n'ose pas le dire à son fils adulte de son premier mariage. Le jeune Christine rejette son enfant à naître, car elle a été abandonnée par son petit ami tandis que la chanteuse Inge Jolander craint non seulement pour son apparence, mais aussi pour sa voix. Et la journaliste sportive Grit Harlacher apprend finalement qu'elle aura des jumeaux. Peter, Elizabeth et Hedwig peuvent résoudre tous ces problèmes : avec les mots, ils mettent fin aux soucis superficiels. Et Christine trouve chez le jardinier de la clinique un nouveau petit ami.
