Synopsis
The movie plot is ten or twoleve family are goes to pilgrimage from Thirumalai(Tirupathi) to Thenkumari(Kanniyakumari). Muniyyamma(Manorama) and Mannaru(Suruli Rajan) they slum area couple. Saroja(Rama Prabha) and her family as Telugu. Sailasri and her family as Kannada. They college students Sekar(Sivakumar) and Geetha(Kumari Padmini) and another couple as Lalitha(A. Sakunthala) and her lover, who travel the same bus. Raghavan(Sirkazhi Govindarajan) and his daughter also come, raghavan is Tamil musician and Sirkazhi Govindarajan sing song by himself to the temples. And one Malayali family also travel the pilgrimage to bus. and the Young couple Mohan(Sasikumar) and his wife sundari. and the Brahmin family V. Goplakrishnan and his wife and children and another is Gandhimathi and who travel her Grandson Master Prabhakar. They Passengers are goes to Tirupati , Mysore, Chamundeshwari Temple Brindavan Gardens , Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple , Thiruthani Murugan Temple Guruvayur Temple and finally the pilgrimage end into Kanniyakumari. They goes to temples are said to the history of temple and rule of temples.Sekar(Sivakumar) and Geetha(Kumari Padmini) was loves in our college days, but sekhar father was opposed to his son sekhar love, so sekhar write letter and leaves his home and join the pilgrimage, he many time requesting for geetha for our marriage proposal, but geetha was strictly said to sekhar our marriage was gets to sekhar father permission now. The end of the story sekhar and the co-passenger set some sensitive drama like sekhar commit suicide, the same time sekhar father was advertise newspaper for agree sekhar marriage. Rahul Mithaiwala (Shahrukh Khan) is a forty-year-old bachelor living in Mumbai. His parents died in a car accident when he was eight years old, so his grandparents raised him. His grandfather (Lekh Tandon) owns a chain of confectionery shops where Rahul has been a dedicated worker helping his grandfather. Two of Rahul's friends convince to finally take a vacation and travel with them to Goa. Rahul's grandfather dies on the day of the 100th birthday celebration. His grandmother tells Rahul that his grandfather wanted his ashes to be divided into two parts—one of each to be immersed in the Ganges and Rameswaram. She asks Rahul to take the ashes to Rameswaram and disperse them. While he accepts her request, Rahul and his friends plan to dump the ashes at Goa but his grandmother wants to see him off, forcing Rahul to travel by train. He books a single ticket on the Chennai Express, planning to quickly exit and meet his friends along the way. However, as he tries to leave the train, he notices a young woman running to board it. He helps her and then four large men board the moving train, missing his chance to debark.

Robbie (Jon Whiteley), an orphaned 6-year-old boy, has been placed with uncaring and harsh adoptive parents in London. Having accidentally set a small fire in the house, and fearing he will receive severe punishment as he has in the past for misdemeanours, he flees into the London streets. He finally takes shelter in a derelict bombed-out building, where he stumbles across Chris Lloyd (Dirk Bogarde) and the body of the man Lloyd has just killed – his employer, who Lloyd had discovered was having an affair with his wife. Now on the run, and aware that Robbie is the only witness to his crime, Lloyd realises that he will have to get out of London and that he has no option but to take the boy with him. The film follows the pair as they travel northwards towards Scotland with the police in somewhat baffled pursuit, and charts the developing relationship between the two. Initially Lloyd regards Robbie dismissively, as an unwanted inconvenience, while Robbie is wary and suspicious of Lloyd. As their journey progresses however, the pair gradually develop a strong bond of friendship, trust and common cause, with both feeling they have burned their bridges and now have nothing to lose. They finally reach a small Scottish fishing port, where Lloyd steals a boat and sets sail for Ireland. During the voyage Robbie falls seriously ill, and Lloyd turns the boat back towards Scotland, where he knows the police are waiting for him.

When a Senator is killed in an explosion, the FBI investigates. The agent in charge is Danny O'Neill (Pierce Brosnan), who is separated from his wife Terry (Lisa Eilbacher) (due to the accidental drowning of their only child in their pool) and behaving very erratically. Initially the investigation does not reveal the kind of explosive used or even what was used to detonate it. Eventually it is learned that terrorists have developed an "invisible" liquid explosive which is activated within the human body (by stomach acid). It also does not help that they have to report to Senator Traveres (Ron Silver), the man whom O'Neill's wife is having an affair with and whom Danny also assaulted.
