Tombs of the Blind Dead is a 1971 Spanish horror film written and directed by Amando de Ossorio. Its original Spanish title is La noche del terror ciego, which means "The Night of the Blind Terror". The film is the first in Ossorio's Blind Dead series, and its success helped kickstart the Spanish horror film boom of the early 70s.
Synopsis
The Knights Templar (a fictionalized version of a real-life order that was dissolved in the 14th century following charges of witchcraft and heresy) come back from the dead as revenants. The reanimated corpses are blind, because their eyes were pecked out by birds while their hanged bodies rotted on the gallows.Actors

The film opens with a flashback to 13th century Bouzano, Portugal. A peasant mob has captured the Templar knights and is preparing to burn them for witchcraft and murder. One of the captured knights swears revenge on the village. The villagers (in a break from the first film) burn the knights eyes out with torches before burning them to death.

A pair of swimsuit models are out in a boat to stage a publicity stunt by appearing to be stranded. They discover a mysterious galleon shrouded in mist and board it. When contact is lost, the wealthy and unscrupulous businessman who sent them out decides to mount his own rescue mission and abducts one of the models' friends. The abducted girl makes an unsuccessful escape attempt. The businessman and his secretary recruit an eccentric scholar to assist them in their search for the missing models and their boat.

A woman arrives from England to visit her estranged relatives in a small castle for the reading of her dead father's will, she eventually discovers that they are all undead and her decision to live with them turns into a nightmare. She learns that the Queen of the Night has claimed her father's eternal soul because he had committed suicide. Une jeune fille, Luisa, rend visite à sa grand-mère mourante, la baronne Karlstein, dans sa demeure. The film opens with a man, later revealed to be named BJ, in a morgue who has sex with a corpse that has a biohazard symbol on the toe tag; afterward, he handles an empty test tube while washing up. Later, at a party, Samantha unsuccessfully attempts to contact her ex-girlfriend Nikki and meets with her friend Alice, who encourages Samantha to drink to forget about her recent break-up. Riley, who has an unrequited crush on Samantha, and Zain attempt to flirt with her, but Samantha brushes them off and excuses herself. She eventually gives in to Alice's intense pressure and becomes drunk. BJ introduces himself to Samantha and hands her a drink that he claims she dropped. Samantha, too drunk to know whether it is her drink or not, accepts it. Although she says she is a lesbian who is already involved in a relationship, as a result from being drunk and drugged, she agrees to have intercourse with BJ. From inside his car, Samantha begs BJ to stop and eventually blacks out.

In rural Texas, go-go dancer Cherry Darling (Rose McGowan) decides to quit her low-paying job and find another occupation. She runs into her mysterious ex-boyfriend El Wray (Freddy Rodriguez) at the Bone Shack, a BBQ restaurant owned by J.T. Hague (Jeff Fahey) and his sheriff brother (Michael Biehn). Meanwhile, a group of officials at a nearby US military base, led by the demented Lt. Muldoon (Bruce Willis), are making a business transaction with a chemical engineer named Abby (Naveen Andrews) for mass quantities of a deadly biochemical agent known as DC2 (codename "Project Terror"). When Muldoon learns that Abby has an extra supply on hand, he attempts to take Abby hostage, and Abby intentionally releases the gas into the air. The gas reaches the town and turns most of its residents into deformed bloodthirsty psychopaths, referred to as "sickos" by the surviving humans. La chaîne de restauration rapide American Chicken Bunker a construit un de ses restaurants sur le site d'un vieux cimetière indien. Ainsi les contestataires alter-mondialistes du CLAM (College Lesbian Against Mega-conglomerates) manifestent. Arbie arrive sur les lieux de la manifestation et découvre que Wendy, son ex, est devenue lesbienne. Le jeune homme décide alors de se faire embaucher dans le restaurant pour s'opposer à cette dernière. Il va rencontrer des gens aux personnalités particulières : Carl Jr. un grand garçon un peu bête, Paco Bell le jeune mexicain homosexuel, Humus la musulmane et le général Lee Roy, gérant de la chaîne de restauration rapide. Malheureusement la malédiction de l'ancienne tribu indienne va s'abattre sur le restaurant et ainsi transformer la viande qui fera muter les gens en poulets-zombies. Les personnes coincées à l'intérieur de ces lieux maudits vont découvrir qu'ils vont être contraints de s'unir pour survivre.
