Vallavanukku Vallavan is a 1965 black-and-white Tamil action thriller film was directed by R. Sundaram under production Modern Theatres. The film script written by A. L. Narayanan. Music by Vedha assets to the movie. starring S. A. Ashokan, Manimala, Gemini Ganesan, R. S. Manohar in lead roles with Thangavelu and Manorama in supporting roles. Also Savitri, makes a cameo as herself.
Synopsis
Ramesh (S. A. Ashokan) is an engineer who is hunting for a job and with the help of his friend Babu (Thangavelu) goes to see a wealthy businessman named Laxman for a new project of his. After a song and a comic encounter with Laxman's daughter Geeta (Manimala), he falls in love with her. He also achieves very good success in convincing Geeta's father into starting the project. During a sight visit for the project, his suitcase gets swapped with a similar suitcase of a co-passenger named Mala (Manorama), which is full of money. For this reason Ramesh is detained in a police lock-up. Also Mala is revealed to be part of a criminal gang. When the gang leader, Jumboo, is not able to kill Mala (because he needs a particular diary from her), he instead arranges a dangerous rowdy named Bijua Pakiri (Manohar)to kill Ramesh within the lock-up.Actors

Chithambaram(S.Ve.Shekar),a good hearted simpleton from a rich family based in karaikudi is in love with his cousin Uma(Ilavarasi).Uma is a well educated girl and in love with Arun(Arun Pandian), her collegemate. when chithambaram's parents speak to uma's parents about their(chithambaram and uma) marriage,uma's mother insults chithambaram for his stupidity.so,chithambaram sets to find a job and earn money so that he can ask uma's hand for marriage with respect.But what ensues is a series of unexpected twists and turns for chithambaram as he is wrongly accused of smuggling,burglary and murder of a young woman all done in the same night of his first job offer by a wealthy and respectable man.And the impossibility of him having committed all three crimes gives him the benefit of doubt by the police who seeks the assistance of beemarao(visu),a CID inspector.Beemarao is threatened by goons on his arrival to karaikudi(the story is set in karaikudi and nearby localities) and he has his first doubt of someone else's hand in the crimes.he ventures upon finding the real criminals behind the mishappenings along with arun through clever deduction and effort. In the end what turns out to be another surprise is the identity of criminal himself.

Rajasekhar (Sivaji Ganesan) becomes the guardian to his younger sister Radha (Savitri) after their parents’ death. The brother-sister duo love, care and adore each other and are inseparable. When the factory in which Rajasekhar works is shut down due to a labour problem and he is depressed, Radha gives him ₹1000 which she had earned and saved by making toys. She advises him to use this money as seed capital and commence his own toy business. The dutiful brother follows his sister’s advice, starts a business and in a short time, becomes rich. Anand (Gemini Ganesan) an ex-colleague of Rajasekhar who earlier helped him to get a job in his old factory, is jobless and approaches Rajasekhar for work. Rajasekhar appoints him in his concern and over a period of time, Anand and Radha fall in love. Rajasekhar, who is very possessive of his sister, gets angry with Anand as he feels betrayed.

Saraswati Sabatham tells the story of a dispute between three goddesses over which has the best power. Narada (Sivaji Ganesan), a sage and celestial troublemaker, begins the fight by visiting Saraswati (Savitri), the Goddess of knowledge, and purposely annoys Her by saying that wealth is more important and abundant. Billa (Rajinikanth) is a powerful mafia lord, who in spite of being one of the most wanted on the list of Interpol, remains elusive to the police. Along with the police, he makes a few other enemies through his merciless approach in running his organisation, especially when he kills one of his own men, Rajesh, when Rajesh decides to leave the business. This introduces Billa to two new enemies, Kamini (Helen), Rajesh’s fiancee, and Priya, (Sripriya) Rajesh’s sister. Balu (Sivaji Ganesan) and Velu (Gemini Ganesan) work in British Indian Air Force and are fighting with allied forces in World War II. Their plane crashes due to bombs dropped by Japanese. Velu is grievously injured. Balu carries him 50 miles to a village in assam. There Velu regains consciousness and his health starts improving under the care of Indroma (Savithri) and her father, in whose house they are staying. Japanese soldiers come in search of these two. Balu hides Velu and when Japanese are about to discover Velu, he gives himself up to save Velu. Velu recovers, and marries Indroma, teaches her Tamil and calls her Indra. velu is found my members of British Indian army the day after his wedding and has to leave with them, leaving his wife behind. Indra is pregnant and gives birth to a child, however, their village is bombed and she loses her eyesight. When Velu comes in search of his wife, he only sees the ruins of the former village and grieves thinking his wife is dead and goes to Chennai to his maternal uncle.
