Gangadhar Choudhary rules a small community in rural India with an iron hand, and will never permit anyone to speak up against him. He owns most of the land surrounding his palatial home - save for the small patch of land owned by Veer Singh. He summons Veer to his house, and offers him substantial compensation for his land, but Veer refuses, and the Gangadhar has him killed. Veer's widow dies of shock, leaving behind a young Suraj to be brought up by a kindly widow Mrs. Salma Khan, who is also the mother of Iqbal. Years go by, Suraj grows up joins the Indian Armed Forces, and after a meritorious career, he resigns and returns home to avenge his father's death. Kamal Haasan is a huge liar he use to lie everyone in his village for money. One day a fire erupted in a function in a village his father was badly injured he tried to convince doctor and other villagers to come and help him save his father but due to his lying habit no one believed him eventually his father died due to no medical care. Next day he end up at his daughter's home who was married his in laws let him stay in house in return of helping in home chores but he ends up as full time maid he use to get rotten food to eat .One day when his in law had an accident he held him responsible for being very unlucky for him and the whole family. next day when he was sent to buy groceries he saves a blind women from thugs he ends up with losing all the groceries, when he went home he got insulted by his own sister because she did not believe his story and thought that he must have spent the money for himself. Later he was given a task to repair an family clock which he accidentally breaks, to buy a replica of the watch he took part in a race to earn some money. He won the race and bought the clock but when he went home he gets beaten by his in laws because his sister's husband had lost his job and he again blames him for being so unlucky his sister cannot tolerate this and just asks her brother to go away and leave the house. He comes to know that the blind girls mother is seriously ill so he brings a doctor but it was too late and her mother died. Story shifts to Sanjeev Kumar a superstitious rich man who was losing his everything in betting and gambling. one day he encountersKamal Haasan while going for a bet and he wins the bet very first time in his life he brings him home as he finds him lucky, as Sanjeev Kumar has no kids he adopted Kamal Haasan after various profitable deals. Kamal Haasan marries the blind girl and gives her treatment at a hospital for her eyesight she got her eye sight back and Sanjeev Kumar after a long time became father. Everything was going well until Kamal Haasan gets cancer due to eating rotten food for long term at his in laws house. Later he was blamed for poisoning his new born brother for inheritance but when his mother get to know that he is already suffering from cancer, she was sorry later her own brother was guilty and then Kamal Haasan dies in his parents arms. It is a beautiful movie and has a sad ending.

Roy Alex (K. B. Ganesh Kumar), an investigative journalist is doing a feature on hawala money that is being pumped in from the Middle East through hawala dealings. He is summoned to the house of Rahim Haji (Narendra Prasad), a high profile businessman and politician, who is also a former Member of Parliament. Rahim Haji wants Alex to create a media sabotage through his feature, where by exposing Narendra Shetty (Rajeev), a business tycoon who owns Shetty Corporation. Roy Alex follows Chakrapani, a hawala dealer of Shetty on his bike. On way back after secretly clicking his snaps exchanging cash, Roy Alex is brutally killed by Chakrapani (Bheeman Raghu) and his goons. Rahim Haji upon realizing that Alex is dead, is panicked. But within minutes, he comes face to face with Narendra Shetty, who fatally shoots him down for trespassing into his shady business secrets.

The film begins with Captain Jacob Stephan, popularly known as Anakkattil Chackochi (Suresh Gopi) along with his friend Karimbanadan Sunny (Vijayakumar) going to Pollachi to meet Andipetti Veerapandi Thevar deal a spirit business. Thevar, though initially differs to negotiate, later after knowing that Chackochi is the son of Eappachan, his old friend agrees to help them. On way back to Kerala, they are stopped at check post by John Maruthnayagam, the police officer, who happened to be the colleague of Chackochi in army and helps them in leading back. Back at home, Anakattil Eappachan (M.G. Soman), his father is a famous liquor baron, who holds almost a monopoly over spirit business over Central and South Kerala. Eappachan is always at loggerheads with K.K Group (Kunnel-Kadayadi Group), his business rivals. Popularly known as Kadayadi siblings - Kadayadi Raghavan (N. F. Varghese), Kadayadi Thambi (Subair)and Kadayadi Baby (Spadikam George) enjoys a partnership with Kunnel Mathachan (Azeez) and his son Kunnel Outha (Sathar) in their business. Eappachan, who hails from a poor background has emerged in to such a position with his hard work and struggle and he had never forgotten his roots. But time to time, he had to clash with Kadayadi and Kunnel group over business. On the other side Chackochi is enjoying his life as a planter in the company of his buddies Hussein(Siddique) and Oommachan (Maniyanpilla Raju). He also shares a passionate relation with Gowri Parvathi (Nandini), the RDO (Revenue Divisional Officer) and of royal lineage. KK Group always lose to Eappachan but they never stopped their evil ways to eliminate him. The same time Eappachan agrees to gave his shares of profit to them in order to settle things peacefully. Still they are not satisfied, & in an attempt to regain the past glory in business, Kadayadi and Kunnel clans join with Excise minister Balakrishnan (T P Madhavan) and Eappachan's lieutenant Kattithara Paappi (Kollam Thulasi), thereby plans and kills Eappachan one day; Baby stabbing Eappachan by ambushing him from behind.

Sidhardha (Suresh Gopi), a Delhi based youth wing leader of the ruling party is sentenced to jail for murdering Ambikaratnam (Geetha), a woman leader of the ruling party. At Tihar jail, he is made to face severe physical torture for questioning the injustice happening inside. Kalimulla (Mohanraj), the jail superintendent, along with his henchmen is running a crime syndicate inside the jail. Siddhardha witnesses the brutal atrocities that poor criminals have to face while hardcore criminals with political connections enjoy special treatment. Upon the instruction from supreme court, a re-investigation is ordered on Ambikaratnam murder case. Akhila (Vijayashanti), a dashing and aggressive officer from CBI is assigned to re-probe Sidhardha's case. She visits Siddhardha who is hostile. Sidhardha refuses to co-operate with her claiming that the entire the system is corrupt and has no faith left in him towards police. But Akhila moves ahead with her investigation and finds the innocence of Sidhardha. Justice Varma (Thilakan), a retired Supreme Court judge is working on a book which he claims will reveal the black realities of bureaucracy and politics in Delhi. Titled as 'The Bleeding Nation', the book has chapters on the illegal underworld connections of Jyothikrishna, the aspiring Prime Minister of the country. Popularly known as J.K. (Mani C. Kappan), he had been involved in several dubious and defense deals that may even hurt the security of the country. J.K. Along with Dharman (Ratheesh), his lieutenant, approach Justice Varma and offers several sops including a governor post, but Varma refuses to buy it. Sidhardha escapes from jail and reaches at Varma to explain him the realities happening inside central prison. He refuses to accept Varma's advise to surrender and informs him about the plan to avenge to all who had framed him in murder case. Sidhardha meets Akhila to explain his side. Sidhardha, an emerging youth leader, was involved in a series of public issues. He was accompanied by Dharman, Ambikaratnam and many other young politicians who desired to bring a change in the country. Sidhardha and Ambikaratnam questioned the policies of the party and opposed the ways of J.K. calling him a threat to the nation. In order to obliterate Sidhardha, J.K. took the help of Dharman, a shroud politician. With the help of him, J.K planted a bomb which exploded at the birthday party of Ambikaratnam killing her. Sidhardha was accused by Dharman of murdering her and was arrested. Dharman rose in the party in short time and has become a trusted aide of J.K. Meanwhile Swami Somendra (Rajan P.Dev) of Tapovan Ashram plans a conspiracy to topple the government. He is the mentor of J.K and runs an underworld with his Ashram as base. Several politicians who questioned J.K were found missing in few time and Akhila's investigation moves in this direction. In short time, she is shocked to find that even the top CBI officers are a part of J.K's coterie. Swami Somendra tries all ways to influence Akhila, but all in vain. Sidhardha along with young Turks in the party decides to opt for violence to save the nation before the elections. They open up a secret jail and picks up several criminals and political leaders and kills them, creating a panic among the ruling class. He reaches out J.K and Somendra and makes them confess of the crimes and kills them, whereby delivering justice.
