Ashley Walters (born 30 June 1982), is an English actor, who in his earlier career was also known as rapper Asher D.
In July 2001, following an argument with a traffic warden, he was found to be carrying a loaded Brocock air pistol modified to fire live ammunition. He was arrested and, in 2002, jailed for 18 months, in a young offenders' institute. Having spent the previous nine months in custody, he subsequently served an additional nine months to complete his sentence. On 31 March 2014 he was fined £600 after he admitted assaulting a security guard in Aberdeen in September 2013.

Ashley married Danielle Isaie on 22 June 2013; they had a daughter in late August 2014, Amiaya-Love Walters. Walters has two sons Shayon Perry (born 2000), Paniro Ashley (born 2003) and one daughter China Sherrece (born 2001) with ex-partner Natalie. He also has two young daughters Antonia and Ashleigh Walters.In July 2001, following an argument with a traffic warden, he was found to be carrying a loaded Brocock air pistol modified to fire live ammunition. Policeman, Mike Jones (Q), is given information by his athlete friend, Joey (Silvio Simac), about a terrorist group testing a virus on people. Whilst undercover, Mike tries to earn the trust of Slick Pete (Bradley Gardner), who is planning a bank robbery heist. Later Joey is murdered by his girlfriend, Ty (Shanika Warren-Markland), after refusing to throw his next martial arts fight at the request of Fast Eddie (Joseph Marcell). After Mike finds Joey dead and he suspects Ty was involved after seeing her with a few gangsters earlier. He pursues her for information, after she disregards him, he and his partner are followed back to his house by Rizzle (Gary McDonald) and Big D (Micheal White). Everyone except Mike is killed in a shootout, Mike suspects he was set up and resigns. Ty then orders Barry (Richie Campbel) and Tyson (Ashley Chin) to kill Mike.

When their youth centre is threatened with closure, six children decide to come together and put on a dance show. Each has their own reason for performing aside from saving the youth centre. The story follows Kenneth (Adam Deacon) who likes to call himself "Kay". He has an ambition of becoming a grime MC, and has already created his debut mixtape, Feel The Pain. However, nobody has bought a single copy and Kenneth works, for now, at local supermarket Laimsbury's to help pay his family's rent. When his boss insults him at work for trying to be a rapper, he quits and his mother berates him for failing to pay the house rent and his family is soon threatened by bailiffs. Kenneth cannot take seeing his mother hassled by the bailiffs, so he begins to sell illegal drugs with his friends Bookie (Femi Oyeniran), Enrique (Ollie Barbieri), Lesoi (Michael Vu), and TJ (Jazzie Zonzolo). When local badman Tyrone (Richie Campbell) investigates Kenneth, he steals Kenneth's and his friends' accessories. His friends leave him and his family do not support him, so Kenneth slyly breaks into Tyrone's house to steal back his stuff. While Tyrone cheats on his baby's mother in the other room, Kenneth manages to steal everyone's stuff back, but Tyrone finds out and comes after him. Tyrone attacks him, and his friends try to help him, but Tyrone manages to scare them away, making it a one-on-one fight. Kenneth shockingly fights back and takes Tyrone down. After the humiliation, Tyrone's boss arrives and witnesses Tyrone hitting kids, therefore sacks him and insults him in front of the entire hood. To make matters worse Tyrone's baby's mother's brother appears on the scene to punish him further for cheating on his sister, and Tyrone flees in humiliation. Kenneth gets his job back at Laimsbury's and helps pay his family's rent.

While at home alone, Amber (Tulisa Contostavlos) is attacked and murdered. However, the murder is passed off as a suicide by Officer Bates (Ashley Walters). Meanwhile, Archie and Jasmine start a romance, which leads to Archie suggesting he and Jasmine remove themselves from the suicide pact, but this repels Jasmine. Soon after, Bates and his partner Mason (Reggie Yates) discover Samantha's death scene.

Tom (Steven Mackintosh), a middle class working employee, finds himself at rock bottom after he loses his job and his girlfriend in the same week. Believing that he has no choice but to end it all, Tom ventures into a derelict squat in East London, in an attempt to purchase a gun from homeless crack addict D (Ashley Walters). However, D attempts to extort more than the agreed price, in order to pay off his debt to local drug dealer Hoodwink (Andy Serkis), to whom he owes a significant amount of money. However, the gun is not his to sell - it actually belongs to Hoodwink, who will do anything in his power to get it back. Tom's attempts to reason with Hoodwink leave him with more trouble than he bargained for - and trying to buy him off only gets him seriously abused. Despite trying unsuccessfully to shift the blame onto not-so-macho drug dealer Ray (Adam Deacon), Tom and D gradually get to know what makes each other tick - and digress for reasonable life - as they try to find a way out of the situation. However, with Hoodwink still on the warpath, the day soon becomes a cat and mouse game of survival for the pair.
