A crippled puppeteer, Ivan Tsarakov (Barrymore), is frustrated that he will never dance ballet. He adopts a protegé, Fedor Ivanoff (Cook), whom he makes into the greatest dancer in the world. Fedor falls in love with a dancer, Nana Carlova (Marsh), but Tsarakov fears that she will ruin Fedor as a dancer. He tries to separate them and ultimately fires Nana from the ballet troupe. Fedor runs away with Nana to Paris, but Tsarakov has blacklisted him, and he cannot get ballet jobs and is reduced to working in a cabaret. Nana begs Tsarakov to give Fedor his job back. Tsarakov agrees, if Nana will leave Fedor and marry another man; she agrees. Fedor returns embittered; he sees Nana on opening night and realizes that she still loves him; he refuses to dance. Tsarakov threatens to kill him, but the ballet master, under the influence of drugs that Tsarakov has given him, kills Tsarakov. Fedor is reunited with Nana.

The story revolves around a husband-and-wife acting team. Simply because he is insecure, the husband suspects his wife could be capable of infidelity. The husband disguises himself as a guardsman with a thick accent, woos his wife under his false identity, and ends up seducing her. The couple stays together, and at the end the wife tells the husband that she knew it was him, but played along with the deception.

Betty Boop is queen of the Masquerade Ball. She get annoyed by the king of the ball. Bimbo does Italian scatting to confuse the king. Bimbo and the king pull on Betty's arms. Her skirt goes up, showing her underwear and her two garters. But a little creature pins the dress. Then, Betty flips a coin to see if the king or Bimbo wins her affections, but doesn't really work. So the king and bimbo fight with wooden swords. Bimbo loses and is taken away by a knight, but Bimbo soon realizes it is Betty and asks him to marry her.

Après que Rod Whitaker et ses amis, Ramrod et Half-a-Rod, se sont fait voler leurs chevaux par des hors-la-loi, ils se rendent dans la ville la plus proche, où Rod postule pour le poste de shérif. Apprenant les plans de Ramsey, Rod et Ramrod surveillent la banque où le vol doit avoir lieu. Ramrod est tué dans la fusillade qui suit. Troublé par ce qui s'est passé, Bud veut se confesser, mais Ramsey ne le laisse pas faire. Bud décide de le défier, mais en attendant de parler au shérif, il voit une note qu'il sait avoir été envoyée pour attirer Rod et Dale dans une embuscade. Bud monte le cheval de Rod et est blessé à la place de Rod lors de l'embuscade. Bud survit à l'attaque et est en mesure de dénoncer Ramsey. Rod dit à Bud que son sacrifice personnel allégera sa punition pour le vol, et Rod et Dale s'embrassent.
