Synopsis
Sara invites her ex-husbands and their new families to celebrate Christmas with her and her husband Janne. Sara have always wanted to have a baby with Janne, and at the dinner table she reveals the news: she's pregnant. The only problem is that Janne performed a vasectomy two years ago, without Sara knowing it. The secret starts to spread among the guests, and in no time everyone knows but Sara. Emily Taylor (Lacey Chabert) is a humble and kindhearted seamstress devoted to her family's business in Philadelphia. She is also in love with her European boyfriend Leo James (Stephen Hagan). As the Christmas season approaches, Leo reveals that he is in fact Prince Leopold, heir to the throne of a small sovereign country called Cordinia, which is loosely based on Monaco. He takes Emily back to his country for the Christmas holidays and introduces her to his mother Isadora, Queen of Cordinia (Jane Seymour), who disapproves of the young American immediately. Ebony Scrooge (Williams) is one of the world's most successful pop singers. With her cold-hearted soul and nasty attitude, she lacks a great deal of holiday cheer and makes her band and manager anything but happy. While in New York for a charity concert, Ebony (who was once part of the 1980s trio "Desire") is visited by one of her former singing partners (who died in a car crash), Marli Jacob (Thomas). She tells Ebony that she was unhappy with her for willingly abandoning her that lead to her drug addiction and eventual death. Because of it, Marli is still earthbound and in chains. She warns Ebony of the same fate if she doesn't change her life soon. When Mrs. Claus travels to Pineville, the playful Santa Pups stow away on her sled. The sequel takes places a couple of months after the events of the first film, and follows the story of Niko, who must deal with his mother Oona getting re-married and thus, he gains a stepbrother named Jonni, whom Niko hates at first.
