Narasimha, a young and captive man, lives a middle class life with his family in a quiet neighborhood. He gets his beautiful sister married to an eligible young man in their vicinity. On the occasion of his sister giving birth, he returns home to find a communal conflict arise between his neighborhood which spreads in the whole city. He seeks refuge in a dwelling area nearby only to return and find out his whole family has been murdered. With no aim left in life Narsimha decides to turn to crime and alcohol. He later decides to work for a man called Suraj Narayan Singh aka Bapji who is a big goonlord and capitalist of the city and basically controls the law and order of the city and rules over it using muscle power and his immense wealth . Bapji was delighted to get hold of a man like Narsimha who has wits and also muscle power but has lost desire to live and hence Narsimha executes his most difficult works which others cant accomplish. Bapji believes that he has become invincible and nobody can dare protest him since he has the city under his complete subjugation. He considers Narsimha as a weapon which can unlock his most difficult problems and a Narsimha, who is completely dejected from life, accomplishes them without asking any questions. Narsimha remains drunk full day and only comes when summoned by Bapji to execute Bapji's assignments and receive his payments.

Lisa (Mink Brar) can't remember who she is. She is aware of only two things - her dress is full of blood and she's got a coat full of cash. Her husband Arjun (Milind Soman) is a famous surgeon who does his best to help her remember. So begins a love story in which Arjun tries to make his wife fall in love with him all over again. All going well until Lisa gets a strange feeling about what went wrong that night. She starts getting flashes of blood and money. Arjun can't seem to help her and neither can their friendly neighbor Anju(Yukta Mookhey), who is always around to help Lisa get better. The mystery unfolds when Anju's husband Dev (Sameer Dharmadhikari), a naval officer and Lisa's college friend, returns. Dev doesn't want to wait till her memory returns and he won't rest until he can figure out how Lisa's life became so twisted. Lisa must decide if she wants to discover the truth or be content with the life Arjun has created for her.

Karan (Sohail Khan) and Bindiya (Nauheed Cyrusi) are childhood friends and live with Karan's brother Arjun Rana (Sunny Deol). Karan's feelings for Bindiya are more than just of a friend, however she is unaware of his feelings and falls in love with Saahil (John Abraham) gradually. When Karan find this out, he warns Sahil to stay away from Bindiya but he doesn't and makes a love letter for her .The next day karan sees the letter and tears it apart then Karan's friend Rony (Apoorva Agnihotri) humiliates him about falling in love with bandiya and being so poor .So Saahil gets angry and tries to kill himself. However, when Sahil's brother Sanju (Sunil Shetty) finds him unconscious and badly wounded, he cannot control his anger and goes looking for Rony. However, when Sanju gets to the college he sees Karan sitting down, wearing Rony's Jacket with his name on the back, starts beating him up in public. Karan is hospitalised when Sanju finds out that he has beaten Karan and not Rony. Now Arjun Rana who is a very powerful & wealthy communist and gangster wants to avenge Sanju for badly beating up his brother. However, Arjun is unaware of Bindiya's feelings for Sahil and Karan's for Bindiya. Saahil advises Sanju to give up his violent ways. Sanju hands himself to Arjun and gets badly beaten up by him. Saahil apologizes to Sanju. Saahil decides to leave Bindiya.

In troubled Kashmir reside the Kaul family, consisting of Major Amrish, his wife Sudha, a son, Ajay, and a daughter. Ajay meets with two accidents on his motorcycle due to the carelessness of Neha Pandit, this leads to their meeting again, and both fall in love. Ajay finds out that Neha has been widowed, but this does not deter him, and he convinces her father-in-law R.K. Sharma to bless them, which he does so. Shortly after his approval, Neha is abducted by terrorists headed by Juded Afghani, who demand the release of their accomplice Naved Rabhani, and in exchange of Neha, Ms. Anita Choudhary the daughter of India's Home Minister's Bhagwat Choudhary. Ajay must abduct Anita if he is to ever see Neha alive again, but amongst Anita's bodyguard is Major Amrish Kaul, who have now re-located to New Zealand. Ajay travels to New Zealand, and does abduct Anita, only to find out that he is nothing more than a pawn in the hands of terrorists, and Neha herself, who is not what she claims to be. She's also a terrorist. Then Ajay tries to set things right and he finally kills all the terrorist including Neha and saves Anita.

Arun Sharma (Sunny Deol) is a spy working for RAW (Research and Analysis Wing). He sets up a spy network under the identity of Major Batra, with the objective of getting information regarding terrorist activities across the border. An ex-boxer Baldev Choudhary (Dharmendra) has had a stain in his boxing career. He wanted to wash it with his son Angad's (Sunny Deol) success, but times were hard and a financial crunch kept him from achieving this dream. Though Angad pulled through fine, Baldev never forgot who ruined his chance to wash the stain. An opportunity strikes Baldev in the form of a T.V. Show. He trains a local boy to get into this media hyped boxing show, but is ditched for a better coach at the last minute. Baldev's younger son Karan (Bobby Deol) has just launched his first music album. Realizing his father is in crises of his life, he gives up his dream of a musical career to get into the game of boxing. Karan wins all through thinking that his victory will bring the two pillars of his family together. After winning within the nation, he wins all over the world. The final match is with the current world heavy champion. The match goes fine, but Karan is tricked and he ends up paralysed in a hospital bed. Baldev, who wanted to wash a stigma is now about to lose his son. He feels like killing himself. When Karan reveals the world heavy champion cheated, Angad decides to get into the game of boxing once more and win the title for his father.Angad steps in and brings the world heavyweight champion belt to India. On the other hand, Karan suffers liver damage and requires a liver to survive. Baldev pleads with the doctors to use his liver, but the doctors reject the idea. However, the operation continues as God hears Baldev's call – a liver is donated to Karan through an unknown donor. In the end, Baldev who was going to give up his life for Karan, is instead alive and happy with his family.

Set in 1931, British India, the film tells the story of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh and Chandrashekhar Azad who have only motive in mind: Freedom for India. They set about doing this task together with two other men, Sukhdev and Rajguru. Bhagat Singh is enraged when his mentor Lala Lajpatrai is mercilessly beaten to death by the police, and he sets about to avenge his death. He and his colleagues do succeed in killing one of the officials responsible, but they are identified and as a result Bhagat and Rajguru are arrested and held in prison where they are tortured relentlessly.
