Synopsis
Mammootty plays the lead role Manu, M.A., L.L.B., BTech Electronics who is researching in astronomy. Manu's father (M. G. Soman) is a police officer. Lisi plays the role of Manu's sister Uma. Prathapachandran plays Ravunni, a family friend. Antony (Azeez) and Mary (K. P. A. C. Lalitha) are neighbours of Manu. Their children are Dany aka Lother and Ikru. Manu's elder sister (Jalaja)'s children comes from Delhi for their vacation. They with Dany and Ikru make up a four member team headed by Dany.Actors

The movie is a portrait of the life of Anantha Padmanabhan (Mammootty), born to an aristocratic Namboothiri father (Charuhasan) and a low caste mother (Jayabharathi), who quickly learns and masters all 3 Vedas and allied arts of it. Ananthan and his family go through a lot of trouble, as the narrow-minded Brahmin community finds out that he is in love with an aristocratic girl, which ends in tragedy upon his family. To seek revenge for his mother's death, he learns ancient mystic tantric rituals and the 4th Veda, Atharvaveda, which is generally related to sorcery. He puts a menace on the whole society, using his powers that he gained over the years. His dad's second son (Ganesh Kumar) is sent to save the society and the village from the clutches of this austere man inflicted with vengeance.

Littlefoot's grandfather one night tells the children a story about "The Lone Dinosaur" (a pun on The Lone Ranger), a legendary longneck who once protected the Great Valley from the most ferocious sharptooth ever to live. A fight ensued, which led to the Sharptooth's death. However, the sharptooth left "The Lone Dinosaur" with a scar slashed across his right eye. Soon after the battle, a huge monolith that resembled a proud sauropod, having life-sized Sharptooth teeth arranged around his neck, came out of the ground during an earthshake. The dinosaurs called it "Saurus Rock". The legend also states that if anyone damages the monolith, bad luck would descend upon the valley.

One day Charlie Strapp's good friend The Chicken is kidnapped by two Villain called Pudding and Karlsson. Charlie Strapp, who has just been invited by Froggy Ball to participate in the virgin ride of his new car, constructed by Sheet-Niklas and himself mainly out of an old shoe and a well-shaken soda bottle, begins the chase. But the start is miserable as their other friend The Parrot also ends up being kidnapped. It turns out, though, that the kidnappers might not be purely evil after all: they work as stage magicians and just happen to need a hen for a trick they are performing. Charlie Strapp and the others continue to chase the kidnappers through air, on the ground and on water skis until the final showndown. Maybe they can find another trick.

Toaster is a feminine-voiced leader of a group of appliances consisting of an antique radio, a gooseneck lamp, Lampy; an electric blanket, Blanky; and a vacuum cleaner, Kirby, who belong to their master, Rob. They wait every day at Rob's cottage for his return with an increasing sense of abandonment, causing Blanky to hallucinate about finally seeing Rob return. Justin (Freddie Highmore) lives in the kingdom of Gabylonia, where bureaucrats rule and knights have been ousted. His dream is to become one of the Knights of Valour, like his grandfather, Sir Roland. A prophecy states that a female child with a special birthmark will herald the downfall of the evil sorceress Queen Bavmorda. Bavmorda imprisons all pregnant women in her realm to prevent fulfilment of the prophecy. When the prophesied child is born, the mother begs the midwife to take her to safety. The midwife reluctantly accepts, and leaves Nockmaar castle unnoticed. The mother is executed, and the midwife is eventually found. Knowing she cannot escape, she sets the baby on a makeshift raft of grass and sends her down the river, hoping for fate to run its course. Bavmorda sends her daughter Sorsha and General Kael to find the baby so that the prophecy can never be fulfilled.

In 1939 New Orleans, a roguish German Shepherd named Charlie B. Barkin escapes from a dog pound with the help of his friend, a dachshund named Itchy Itchiford. They return to a casino riverboat on the bayou, which is formerly run by Charlie with his partner, a bulldog named Carface Caruthers. Not wanting to share the profits with Charlie, Carface persuades him to leave town with 50% of the casino's earnings. Charlie agrees, but is later intoxicated and murdered by Carface. He is sent to Heaven where a whippet angel named Annabelle (who was named in the sequel) tells him that a gold watch representing his life has stopped. He steals and winds it, sending Charlie back to Earth, but is told that if he dies again, he will go to Hell. After reuniting with Itchy, they discover that Carface is holding an orphan girl named Anne-Marie (presumably kidnapped from the orphanage by Carface), who has the ability to talk to animals and gain knowledge of a race's results beforehand, allowing Carface to rig the odds on the rat races and become rich. They rescue her, intending to use her abilities to get revenge on Carface, though Charlie tells her that they plan to give their winnings to the poor and help her find parents.
