Synopsis
According to her father's wishes, Queen Salinas agrees to share the rule of Icena with Justinian, a Roman. This decision angers both the bloodthirsty Druids and Romans less just than Justinian. As the two rulers fall in love, the Druids and the Romans begin to plot their downfall. It's not long before the hills of Britain are stained with the lovers blood.Actors

Durant la Troisième guerre punique, alors que le consul Scipion Émilien débarque sur les côtes d'Afrique, la ville de Carthage connait de plus en plus de problèmes face aux Romains. À l'intérieur même de la cité, les Carthaginois sont partagés, certains voulant lutter jusqu'à la mort, d'autres préférant traiter avec l'ennemi. Hermon lui-même, suffète à la tête du Grand Conseil de la cité, hésite sur la conduite à adopter. Phégor, le chef de la garde sacrée, est favorable aux négociations avec les Romains qui souhaitent détruire Carthage et reconstruire une nouvelle cité plus éloignée de la côte afin de réduire à néant la puissance maritime de la rivale de Rome tandis qu'Hiram, chef militaire de Carthage, pense qu'il faut défendre la ville contre les Romains et doit s'exiler pour échapper à la mort. Il laisse sa fiancée Ophir, la fille d'Hermon, menacée aussi par l'avancée romaine. Hiram revient à Carthage afin de sauver Fulvia, une romaine qui lui a jadis sauvé la vie et que le grand prêtre s'apprête à sacrifier sur l'autel de Baal-Moloch en raison de la haine du peuple pour les Romains. Hiram s'enfuit ensuite sur le navire de son ami Sidon mais Phégor qui voulait faire de Fulvia son épouse se lance à leur poursuite à bord de la dernière trirème que Rome a laissé à la flotte carthaginoise. Hiram revient ensuite enlever Ophir qui s'apprêtait à épouser Tsour, son ami d'enfance, car Hermon ne voulait pas que sa fille épouse Hiram bannit. L'armée carthaginoise commandée par Hasdrubal le Boétharque est définitivement vaincue par les légions romaines. Phégor trahit la cité dans le but d'éviter les morts tandis qu'Hiram qui plaide la cause de la défense de la ville est autorisé à rentrer à Carthage, il défend la cité contre les Romains mais vaincu, il doit fuir par la mer. Hiram et Ophir seront sauvés et verront de leur bateau la destruction de Carthage par les flammes.

In AD 180, Spanish-Roman General Maximus Decimus Meridius leads the Roman army to a decisive victory against the Germanic tribes near Vindobona, ending a long war on the Roman frontier and winning the favor of the Emperor Marcus Aurelius. In 1300 BC, Moses, a general and member of the royal family, prepares to attack the Hittite army with Prince Ramesses. A High Priestess of Sekhmet (the war goddess) divines a prophecy from animal intestines, which she relates to Ramesses' father, Seti I. He tells the two men of the prophecy, in which one (of Moses and Ramesses) will save the other and become a leader. During the attack on the Hittites, Moses saves Ramesses' life, leaving both men troubled. Later, Moses is sent to the city of Pithom to meet with the Viceroy Hegep, who oversees the Hebrew slaves. Upon his arrival, he encounters the slave Joshua, who is the descendant of Joseph, and Moses is appalled by the horrific conditions of the slaves. Shortly afterwards, Moses meets Nun, who informs him of his true lineage; he is the child of Hebrew parents who was sent by his sister Miriam to be raised by Pharaoh's daughter. Moses is stunned at the revelation and leaves angrily. However, two Hebrews also overhear Nun's story and report their discovery to Hegep.
