Sir Francis Hamilton (Menyhért René Balog-Dutombé), an ambassador of Charles II of England (Lajos Dejan) is on his way to Jamaica when his ship is attacked by pirates led by notorious George Rackham (Henrik Pauer). Pirates kidnap Sir Francis and demand from his wife Lady Elena Hamilton (Anita Skultéty) a great sum of ransom money. Lady Hamilton pleads the king for help but she is rejected. However, daring Lady Hamilton is not willing to give in to the pirates and commissions Captain Graham (Zoltán Kiss) to gather a band of mercenaries to storm the pirates' lair and free Sir Francis. Captain Graham suggests to hire pirate Thomas Butler (Carlo De Palma) of Tortuga. Butler has a condition: If they succeed in saving Sir Francis, Lady Hamilton will sleep with Butler. Lady Hamilton agrees and they set sail but Butler's ambitious mistress Pilar (Venere Torti) who accompanies them starts to grow jealous day by day.

In the year 1431 in Thailand, Tien (Tony Jaa) is held captive being beaten with wooden staves. On the orders of Lord Rajasena (Sarunyu Wongkrajang), his elbows and knees are snapped. As Lord Rajasena sleeps, Tien's guerilla fighters attempt to free Tien, but Bhuti Sangkha (Dan Chupong) appears and kills them. Lord Rajasena offers to hire Bhuti, but he refuses and gives the offer to remove the curse which has been placed on Rajasena before leaving. Rajasena orders his men to kill Tien, but before this can be carried out, a man arrives with a pardon from the king, indicating that he will take Tien, much to Rajasena's ire. The messenger returns Tien to the Kana Khone villagers. After fending off the village from invaders who are after Tien, Master Bua (Nirut Sirijanya) feels guilty over Tien's imprisonment and becomes a Buddhist monk. Pim (Primrata Det-Udom) heals Tien to life, but finds that Tien is still crippled from his beatings. Tien then embarks on a rehabilitation regimen with the help of Master Bua.

The North and South Korean governments are on the verge of reopening the Kyungui Railroad, which connects the two Koreas, as a further step toward reunification. Japan refuses to accept the decision, claiming rights to the railway lines based on official documents imprinted with the imperial seal of Emperor Gojong of Joseon a century ago. Yet an age old conspiracy is uncovered where the imperial seal with which Emperor Gojong signed the documents is suspected to be fake. It is a race against time and hidden agendas as the South Korean president (Ahn Sung-ki) employs the outspoken historian Choi Min-jae (Cho Jae-hyun) and the descendant of the Joseon royal bloodline Kim Yu-shik (Kang Shin-il) to find the authentic seal and prevent the history of Japanese occupation from repeating itself. In the meantime, Japanese economic sanctions divide the South Korean government, and its armed forces appear on the border of South Korea threatening its sovereignty. Eventually, the authentic royal seal is found and Japan apologizes for its occupation.
