On December 29, 2009, Pope and her brother, Kris Pope were driving a black BMW down West Georgia Street in Downtown Vancouver when David Fromradas, 31, of Alberta jumped on top of the car and yelled at them to run him over. When Kris got out of the car, Fromradas jumped in the front seat and drove the vehicle into the new CBC studios. Pope suffered a broken rib, and two cracked vertebrae, Kris suffered severe injuries to his ankle along with another victim who was a passerby.

Splitting her time between Los Angeles and Vancouver Pope is currently attending university when her filming schedule allows. Mid-level drug dealers Eddie and Frank grow restless with their limited growth potential and set up a meeting with their supplier, Madsen. Instead of negotiating, Frank impulsively murders Madsen and takes his cocaine. Eddie's excitement quickly turns to apprehension when he hears about Madsen's death, but Frank talks him into bluffing their way back into drug lord Vincent Camastra's good graces. An unnamed man is sitting in a psychiatrists office, being released from an insane asylum. Three years ago, he and three friends were mountain climbing, when an accident left them all suspended on one rope that was fraying. The doctor reminds him that while his actions are almost understandable, they resulted in death, something that is never acceptable. The film follows Pip, a street kid who's meeting life head-on in the big city.
