Stanley Yelnats IV is a teenager born to a family who have been cursed with bad luck since his great-great grandfather didn't carry a sorceress, Madame Zeroni, up a mountaintop. He is sent to Camp Green Lake when he is falsely accused of theft. He arrives to find that the camp is a dried-up lake run by the warden, her assistant, Mr. Sir, and the counselor, Dr. Pendanski. Prisoners spend each day digging holes in the desert to "build character." After finding a golden lipstick tube initialed K.B., he begins to suspect the hole-digging isn't for just building character.

Le téléfilm commence au moment où Pâris, fils de Priam et d'Hécube, souverains de Troie, est abandonné par ses parents et exposé sur le mont Ida à cause d'une prophétie de la jeune Cassandre qui annonce que l'enfant causera la destruction de la ville. Pâris est recueilli et élevé par un berger. Aphrodite fait apparaître devant Pâris le visage d'Hélène dans une étendue d'eau, et celle-ci, qui regarde dans un lac au même moment, le voit elle aussi.

The movie opens with an animated telling of Tomás Fuentes's(Eduardo Verástegui) life, in which he is always surrounded by women. In his current life, he is a representative for the Olivero & Sanchez Marketing Group in Los Angeles and is busy travelling to visit all three of his girlfriends to give them each a gift. Cici (Sofía Vergara), a cocktail waitress from Miami who enjoys being the center of attention; Patricia Sofia Ordonez Coronado del Pescador (Jaci Velasquez), a debutante of New York's high society who is tired of her mother's (María Conchita Alonso) endless attempts to marry her off; and Lorena Morales (Roselyn Sánchez), a lawyer from Chicago who loves how Tomas makes her feel sexy; have fallen for him and given him the affectionate nickname "Papi". This love triangle of sorts affects Tomás's work life, causing him to pass out during a presentation. His doctor learns of the love triangle, tells Tomás to choose only one woman, prescribes tranquilizers and advises against driving, alcohol and women.

Heiji Hattori searches for a girl he fell in love with after he saw her playing outside a temple when he was little. Meanwhile, Kogoro, Ran, Conan, and Sonoko go to Kyoto and meet up with Heiji and Kazuha to investigate a robbery and several murders. The killer tries to kill Heiji several times and severely injures Heiji. The killer kidnaps Kazuha, but Heiji collapses before he can reach her. Conan swallows a pill Haibara gave him and a bottle of wine, temporarily turning him back into Shinichi. He disguises himself as Heiji and attempts to arrest the killer and save Kazuha and manages to stall the murderer until Heiji arrives. Using kendo, Heiji fights the culprit while Shinichi runs into the woods to hide while his transformation into Conan occurs. In the woods, Shinichi bumps into Ran and stuns Ran with his tranquilizer watch to prevent her from seeing his transformation into Conan. Conan then reaches Heiji and Kazuha in time to save them by kicking sticks of fire at the culprit. The culprit continues to fight Heiji and manages to push the Osaka detective to the edge of the roof. Conan kicks a soccer ball at the enemy, giving Heiji time to regain his footing. In the end, Heiji finds out that the girl from his childhood was Kazuha and does not tell Kazuha that she is the girl he was looking for.

Unable to leave the germ-free confines of his sterilized bedroom for any real stretch of time, environmentally hypersensitive Marvin (Karl Geary) spends his days taking pictures of his neighbors from his window. Occasionally catching glimpses of his young sister Rosy (Alexis Dziena) hanging out with the neighborhood drug dealer, Marvin's lens remains mostly fixed on a mysterious neighbor known as the Garbageman (Lance Henriksen) and pretty neighbor Carmen (Rebecca Mader), while his slightly overbearing mother (Amanda Plummer) rests on the couch. In 1943 Tibet, a Tibetan monk is informed that he has fulfilled the prophecies made of him, which include forgoing his name. He is then entrusted by his master with the protection of a Scroll which contains knowledge by which the reader becomes the most powerful of living things, a protection that will keep him youthful and immunize him to injury until, at the close of 60 years, he must pass the knowledge to an heir. The master, who has formerly been the guardian of this Scroll, is killed by German soldiers shortly after the transfer. His pupil, the now nameless Monk, escapes the Nazis.
