Synopsis
Abhiram or Abhi, (Sharwanand) as called by his friends and family, is the son of a multi-millionaire called GK (Nassar). He is born and brought up among currency and for him life is just a game and he is accustomed to lavish lifestyle. He dates several girls and one day he comes across Janaki (Kamalinee Mukherjee), a young, charming doctor. Abhi challenges his friends that he would make her fall in love within few days. Abhi invites Janaki for coffee after a dance programme and proposes to her.Actors

The film begins with ad filmmaker Anbarasu (R. Madhavan), who prefers the much-abbreviated alias A. Aras arriving at the Bhubaneswar Airport in Odisha, India. He is about to board a flight back to Chennai for his wedding. While waiting at airport, Aras watches the television news about a terrorist threat at an airport in Mumbai. Remarking to himself that the country is going to the dogs, he looks around and sees a bespectacled man with scars taking out something rolled up in a newspaper from his bag. He informs the authorities, only to learn that the man was simply taking out a cucumber rather than what he believed it to be a bomb.

Abhiram (Raghu) is a rich spoilt brat who believes only in class and hates the company of poor people with low profiles. He is in deep love with Dr. Janaki, an orphan who aims to serve poor people as a doctor and give them proper medication. Though he is in love with her, Abhiram does not like the path traversed by Janaki in helping poor and needy. This breaks their relationship apart and Janaki walks away to remote place on her job. Not able to withstand the agony of separation, Abhiram sets on a journey in finding Janaki again to carry on the relationship. Nanda Gopal a.k.a. Nandu (Mahesh Babu) is a professional assassin, and Malli (Sonu Sood) is his partner. State level opposition party leader Shiva Reddy (Sayaji Shinde) wants someone to attempt an assassination on him so that he can gain sympathy votes in the upcoming elections and become the new Chief Minister after promoting his party in such conditions. His colleague Baji Reddy (Kota Srinivasa Rao) with the help of Farooq (Posani Krishna Murali) hooks him up with Nandu for a deal for ₹1.5 crores. After receiving the payment, Nandu and Malli plan the fake assassination attempt at the promotion campaign held nearby and they choose a nearby building to hide and a car to escape. However, before Nandu can shoot Shiva Reddy, someone else fatally shoots him. Within minutes, police surround the building. Just before the exit of the building, a big car accident occurs on the street with Nandu's car. Nandu assumes that Malli got trapped and died in the accident. So Nandu goes to the top of the skyscraper. With the police behind him and in front of him, he is helpless. Suddenly a train comes and Nandu uses a rope to jump from the skyscraper to the train. On the train, Nandu meets Pardhasaradhi a.k.a. Pardhu (Rajiv Kanakala) and travels with him.

U.S. Navy petty officers Billy "Badass" Buddusky (Jack Nicholson) and Richard "Mule" Mulhall (Otis Young), are awaiting orders in Norfolk, Virginia when they are assigned a shore patrol detail escorting young sailor, Seaman Larry Meadows (Randy Quaid), to Portsmouth Naval Prison near Kittery, Maine. Meadows has drawn a stiff eight-year sentence for the petty crime of trying to steal $40 from a collection box of his Commanding Officer's wife's favorite charity. Despite their initial resentment of the detail, the oddly likeable Meadows begins to grow on the two Navy "lifers" as they escort him on a train ride through the wintry north-eastern states; particularly as they know what the Marine guards are like at Portsmouth and the grim reality facing their young prisoner. Gwen and Rhys are a Welsh-speaking couple living in Cardiff where Rhys works as a photographer and Gwen is employed as a historical interpreter at a local Welsh cultural centre. Shiva (Karthi) is a young, carefree, unemployed man staying in Bangalore.
