Synopsis

Vital, chef d'atelier d'une usine textile marié et père de famille tombe amoureux d'une étudiante qui réalise une thèse en ergonomie dans l'entreprise et qui se révèle être la fille de son patron, ce qui suscite des remous dans les familles, dans l'entreprise comme dans l'équipe de rugby dont Vital est l'entraîneur.

Mollie is an accountant living in New York City who has an affair with Albert, a womanizing executive who is married with two children, and becomes pregnant. Angèle is a 40-year-old beautician who works at the title establishment in Paris. Before dying, Auguste's last words are directed to Danielle, which causes the Baroness to envy Danielle and treat her miserably for the next ten years. While Marguerite (Megan Dodds) is hostile and cruel to Danielle, Jacqueline (Melanie Lynskey) is kinder and more respectful to her, though she often stays out of the crossfires to keep the peace.
