Margit Saad is a German actress (originally Lebanese) who has worked largely in German film and television but has also made occasional English-language appearances. She was born in Munich, Bavaria in 1929 and made her screen debut in Eva erbt das Paradies. In 1960 she starred in the British drama film The Criminal and followed it up with appearances in other British films and television programmes such as The Rebel (alongside Tony Hancock) (1961), Playback (1962 film), a film in the Edgar Wallace Mysteries series, The Saint in The Saint Sees It Through (1964) and The Magnificent Two (supporting Morecambe and Wise) (1967).

In early 1966, Saad appeared in an episode of the American television espionage series Blue Light. It was edited together with three other episodes later in 1966 to create the American theatrical film I Deal in Danger, which includes her appearance.

In Nazi Germany during World War II, David March (Goulet) is an American traitor who has been given wide access to travel as he wishes within Germany. Unbeknownst to the Germans, March is actually an American spy, the last remaining from a spy ring, known as Blue Light. As time goes on, he has been able to work his way higher and higher within the Nazi intelligence apparatus, however he is suspected by a Nazi Gestapo officer, Captain Elm (Werner Peters). Along the way, he meets Susanne Duchard (Carère), a French agent, who he has a romantic interlude with, and persuades her to help him.

In a Hong Kong park, a man brushes against the arm of a girl sitting on a bench, and she slips to the ground, murdered. Immediately afterward, the man is killed also. It turns out the woman was connected with a jewel-smuggling ring, and the man was a federal agent. Hancock plays a downtrodden London office clerk who gives up his office job to pursue full-time his vocation as an artist. Single mindedly, and with an enthusiasm far exceeding any artistic talent (his 'art' has a 'childlike' quality - to put it mildly), he sets to work on his masterpiece Aphrodite at the Waterhole, moving to Paris where he expects his genius will be appreciated. While his 'ideas' and persona gain acceptance (indeed plaudits) among the "beat" set, legitimate art critics, like Sir Charles Broward (George Sanders), scoff at his work. He manages to achieve success, however, when the work of his former roommate, a genuinely talented painter, becomes confused with his own. The confusion is eventually resolved after a series of art exhibitions, and he returns, down but not out, to London, where he pursues his 'art' in defiance of whatever others may think of it.

Johnny Bannion, un spécialiste des hold-up est sur le point d'être libéré de prison où il a mis au point un "grand coup" qui doit rapporter une somme exceptionnelle. L'idée lui a été suggérée par un autre prisonnier, Snipe, qui fait désormais partie de sa bande. Lors de sa sortie de prison, Bannion est accueilli par un de ses complices, Carter. L'opération se déroule normalement, mais le comportement de Bannion n'inspire guère confiance et un de ses "amis" le dénonce à la police. À nouveau incarcéré, Bannion apprend que sa maîtresse, Suzanne, a été enlevée et finit par comprendre que l'"ami" en question n'est autre que Carter, et que celui-ci cherche à utiliser Suzanne pour l'obliger à révéler l'endroit où il a planqué le magot. Grâce à ses anciens collaborateurs, passés au service de Carter, Bannion sort de prison à seule fin de leur rendre l'argent volé dont il ne devra toucher, à présent, plus un seul sou. Prisonniers de Carter, Bannion et Suzanne parviennent à s'échapper mais ils sont abattus alors qu'ils tentaient de récupérer l'argent du hold-up.

Tommy Alberti joue du violon dans l'orchestre de son père Raoul. Il ne partage pas la même passion et perturbe de façon répétée les concerts et les répétitions jusqu'à ce qu'il s'en aille. Il veut être chanteur de rock'n'roll, loue une chambre chez la vieille M Erna Hummel et cherche à se produire dans les bars avec sa guitare. Bientôt, il a des problèmes avec un patron qui agresse la jeune Maxi Moll et se plaint de la musique moderne de Tommy. Tommy est virée après une brève bagarre. Maxi ne sait pas où passer la nuit, parce que la jeune fille distraite a de nouveau oublié les clés de son appartement et a été viré par son patron, le coiffeur Orlando. Tommy l'amène chez lui, mais le lendemain tout est différent. Maxi voit sur la table de Tommy une photo de l'attrayante Linda Bauer. La bijoutière est autant séduite par Tommy que par Raoul. Lorsque Maxi montre sa jalousie, Tommy la met dehors. Maxi a oublié sa valise et revient chez Tommy au moment où il reçoit la visite de Linda. Maxi fait quelques remarques ambiguës et s'en va. Peu de temps après, elle vient dans la bijouterie de Linda et s'excuse. Alors qu'elle part, une chaîne en or tombe par terre et est récupéré par le chien de Linda. Linda croit que Maxi l'a volée.
