Diya (Aishwarya Rai) is an intelligent university student who does not agree with arranged marriage. She spends much of her time at an orphanage in Coorg, helping her "Uncle" (Amitabh Bachchan) with the kids living there. The story begins when Diya travels to Mumbai to take exams. While there, she stays with her father's friend, and meets their lighthearted son, Arjun (Vivek Oberoi). His views on love are completely opposite hers. But they start spending time with each other and soon fall in love. Arjun however, is unaware that he is in love, whereas Diya professes her love. Misunderstandings occur until Arjun ventures off to the orphanage, in hopes of putting a smile on her face again after breaking her heart. There, he realizes his true feelings for Diya, who is planning to marry her childhood friend, Ishaan (Suniel Shetty). Luckily, this was all just a plan 'Uncle' made to get Arjun to realize his mistake of not professing love for Diya at the right moment.

Terri Fletcher (Hilary Duff) is a teenager with a passion for singing and dreams of becoming a professional singer. Her father Simon (David Keith), a second-generation restaurateur, disapproves of Terri's plans, stating that being a singer may not be a worthwhile life choice. Full Clip is a 1970s style blaxploitation action movie (A "BuckTown" remake). Joshua Pope (Busta Rhymes) returns to his home in a small town to claim the inheritance his father has left him. On 7 January 1972, the South Korean base in Nha-Trang, Vietnam, receives a radio transmission from a missing platoon that has been presumed dead. The high-command assigns the veteran and decorated Lieutenant Choi Tae-in to lead a squad of eight other soldiers to extract the missing soldiers from the rendezvous point or R-Point. When they arrive at the location, they engage and defeat a Vietnamese woman with a machine gun. They later find a tombstone saying that one hundred years previously, local Vietnamese were killed by the Chinese who disposed of them in a lake. A temple built over the site has become a sacred location to the Vietnamese. They find an immense, but empty mansion, where they set up their base. They have a week to find the missing soldiers, but time is passing slowly when one of them dies in a horrific way, and instead of finding answers, they encounter further mysteries.

In 2004, a satellite detects a mysterious heat bloom beneath Bouvetøya, an island about one thousand miles off the coast of Antarctica. The Heidelberg chapter of the Anti-Hippocratic Society for unrestricted medical research has been shut down, but at a prestigious Berlin hospital the society still thrives. The young neurosurgeon Jo from Duisburg gets caught up in a research group led by doctor Mueller LaRousse, who urges his students to test their progress on themselves. The film starts by telling the story of Tony's father Takitani Shozaburo, a jazz trombonist from Japan, who spends the Second World War in China. Shozaburo is imprisoned and many of his fellow inmates are executed. He expects he will be executed, and he is shown curled up on the floor of his cell. However, he survives and in 1946 returns to Japan where he marries a distant relative on his mother's side. A year later they have a child, Tony, but Tony's mother dies three days after giving birth to him.
